The Muslim people have been the base in scholarly advances in the world as well as advancements in society as a whole. It has been their hard work that has caused our world today to be as great as it really is. Muslims were involved in trying to advance in medicine and this is seen in two of the documents. According to Document 1, Muslim rulers would really push for finding qualified physicians and other workers to treat the ill. This proves that they very much promoted to find them. medical textbooks created by Muslims and then sought after by many people in order to translate. This information proves that Muslims had a large impact on other countries knowledge of medicine. In addition to medicine, Muslims valued education as a whole very greatly.
According to Document 2, Cordova had many libraries , bookstores and public schools, far more than other places in Europe. This shows how much Muslims did greatly value their education systems and also proves the contributions they made on public education services because they were one of the first countries to have so many of them. Furthermore, Document 4 proves how Muslims are accredited for the creation of Algebra because it was created by them and later translated into Latin and used throughout Europe. This proves how European countries were greatly impacted by the Muslim mathematics system and its impact is still greatly appreciated because algebra is used all throughout the globe today. In addition, Muslims also created systems to do calculations that are still in effect today, as stated in document 5. Their creation of astrolabe and the armillary sphere both helped advancements in the world. Finally, Muslims should be credited for influencing Sufi poets, as stated in document
6. The Muslims have also inspired many other things in society such as architecture and trading. The image of the Dome of the Rock in document 6 shows a large resemblance to many other buildings such as the Taj Mahal. This is most likely because of the fact that other buildings got their inspiration from this building. Moreover, Muslims were very good trade people and even set up their own systems, as described in documents 8 and 9 . They had built a trade network throughout their empire and had traded things such as cotton, oranges, spinach and lemons. This has clearly greatly contributed to society because many other countries have taken these ideas as well. In conclusion, there have been many great Islamic contributions to our culture and without them, we probably would have taken more time to advance our knowledge in certain areas. Muslims were very focused on expanding knowledge in medicine for example. Furthermore, they valued education very deeply and set an example to the rest of Europe with their numerous libraries, countless bookstores and public education system. Finally, their archeticture and trading system also set examples for the centuries to follow. For all these reasons, it is clear to see that Muslims have contributed greatly in the way our society is today
Christianity’s and Islam’s outlook on trade significantly varied from the 1st century until the 15th century. Trade in the two religions differed greatly at first, since one believed that it was sinful, while the other embraced it. However, by the end of the Post Classical era, the religions' view on trade and merchants were almost as if they were switched. Christian teachings warn about the consequences from the effects of trade, whereas the Muslims practice trade as an accepted way of life (Docs 1,2,3,6). Even with these differences ideas on the topic, they still preached the importance of fair trade (Docs 2,4,5,7). By the 15th and 16th centuries, Muslims and Christians both changed when Muslims started to demand fairer trade and Christians
...is one of the most popular religions in the world. They influenced us greatly because a religion that we practice today is a root from Judaism and we call it Christianity. They started the whole monotheistic movement. The Arabs conquered the Zoroastrinists who then began to live in the hills and practice their religion very discreetly. Then Islam came into play with the Arabs. Islam is the most populated religion in the world today. Without these two religions we still may have been a polytheistic society and praying to a god for everything we see.
The Islamic Empire took great lengths to expand their understanding of the natural world. The Caliph sent scholars to Persia, Rome, and Greece who brought back texts that were translated to Arabic. There were court appointed patronages which allowed for mastery of secular sciences. This effort allowed for advances in abstract studies of subjects such as optics and math. Medical schools are...

Since the beginning of Europe itself Muslims and Europeans have clashed over religious and cultural styles. This hatred began during the crusades when Christian Europeans drove out and killed Muslims that had begun to immigrate to their lands. Europe had been divided since into Western Christian Europe and Eastern Catholic/Islamic Europe. Even in current day the relations between the two cultures seems to have reached new peaks of instability. In Muslim culture the ideals of the West to do not sit well with them as Western Europeans are seen as blasphemous and scandalous in their eyes. From Western Europe’s perspective the Islamic culture is blasphemous and unprogressive compared to their ideals. Neither side has ever seen eye to eye
Islam and the Islamic world have played and continue to play a major role in our society. 100 years after the death of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Islam spread widely and muslims created empires that extended from North Africa to South Asia. In all stages of society people are all held to certain set of rules, guidelines, and laws. Whether it be your mom telling you to clean up your dishes after every meal, your coach making you go to practice every morning, or not stealing a television from a store, we all obey these rules because that’s what we have been told what the correct thing to do. We may not always like these rules, since they often mean that someone is telling us what we can and cannot do, and for some rules people think what is being implemented is unjust. People who think the laws that are enforced are unjust will protest against that law by not obeying it or trying to get it fixed. In our society we have all these rules enforced in order to make the place we live

The Achievements of The Islamic Civilization Islam, one of the most successful religions was started by Muhammad in Arabia and had a massive impact on the world. The first Muslims were Arabs and they went on to conquer many countries.
Muslim civilization played a significant role in the history of the world and continues to have quiet an influence on the modern world .
