Introduction:

Dance is one of the many forms of art in which people express themselves. It is one of the oldest forms of expression. As a non-verbal form of art, dance involves itself not with reason to discourse but rather with feelings, attitudes, images, relationships, shapes, and other forms of emotions. I have never seen a room full of more energetic and sporadic teens. Everybody was doing their own thing and moving like I have never seen before. People were doing flips in the air and rolling around on the ground. It was great to see people my age dancing and interacting in a safe way, rather than choosing to be some place more vile.

Generation Y, young in it's years, has not had the time to create or invent any new dance styles or techniques that are well known. Give it a few decades though, and we might have something to discuss. The Y Generation in general is an interesting topic. More and more, I find that we are setting our own ways in things, and for once not following what everybody else does, or even our parents for that much. Generation Y are experimenters. We want to be rebels and take risks, and, where we fail, we know now how to do it better. We express ourselves through binding emotional thoughts and
