My partner and I urge you to vote pro on resolved that cyberbullying should be a criminal offense.
My case will consist of 3 main focus points. Cyberbullying results in lots of harm, cyberbullying is increasing, and cyberbullying is a modern twist.

Contention One: It Results In Lots Of Harm
What me and my partner are trying to say is cyberbullying ends with lots of harm and damage done. Cyberbullying is juvenile taunts that leads to anxiety, drug use, depression, or violence says Ryan Blitstein. Research has found that the targets of cyberbullying have gotten psychological problems also including increased involvement with alcohol and drugs, delinquent behavior, aggression, and increased anger. A large majority of teens use the internet and social media. Technology is all around us so there is no way of escaping it, which means there is no way of stopping cyberbullying unless there is criminal enforcement. Criminal enforcement is the only way to end cyberbullying because children don’t take enforcement from others seriously, they will only respect the government and the police authority says Ryan Blitstein. Like I stated before cyberbullying is all around us to support this statement PewInternet.org says 77% of teens use Facebook, 61% of teens use twitter, and 42% use Instagram. PewInternet.org also says *71% post their sexual preference, 91% post photos of themselves, 71% post the name of their school, 71% post their city or hometown, 92% post their nickname or full name, 84% post their interests or hobbies, 82% post their birthdate, 62% post their relationship status, and 24% post videos of themselves. With teens utilizing this social media and doing all these little things online, it makes it easier for cyberbullies to target
