Cultural Self Awareness
There are many levels of Cultural Awareness. Before we get to talk about that, lets talk about What is cultural awareness and How do we build it? Cultural Awareness is the the foundation of communication and it involves the ability of standing back from ourselves and becoming aware of our cultural values, beliefs and perceptions. Then we ask ourselves "Why do we do things in a certain way? How do we look at the world everyday? Why do we react in that particular way?
When interacting with different people from different cultures, You have to remember different cultures have different beliefs. You may not agree with their beliefs, just like they may not agree with yours. Something inappropriate in your culture may be appropriate in someone elses. So therefore if you don't agree with someone's cultural belief try not to speak on it to keep confusion down. If you feel like an individual is getting harmed then you may report it and let the officials handle it.

Food is also considered a form of culture. Food is considered a form of culture because, not every culture eat the same types of foods. Some cultures eat dogs, cats, chicken, alligators, all different types of things that your culture may find disgusting. Clothing is another form of Culture i find interesting, some cultures may not allow their people to wear clothes. Some cultures may not allow their people to show their faces or skin. When you really just research about different types of cultures and cultural beliefs, anything could really be considered a form of Culture, because everyone is different and everyone lives in a different
