As we know, it is good to know different kind of people in our life. However, does this circumstance bring opposite impact to our country? In fact, not everyone can adapt different way of living or accept different kind of stuff. Multiculturalism is the cultural diversity of communities within a given society and the policies that promote this diversity.
In fact, the researcher had been to Melbourne as a student exchange for 6 months. There were a lot of memories and those memories are good. Before he went to Australia, his friends were kept telling him about how racist were the Australians. After he came back, then he realized his friends were wrong. Nowadays, Australians are open-minded and friendly. Racist is not a word from their dictionary. It is true that Australians were racist but that statement belongs to the old generation. Australia is a country that contains multiple cultural. It makes Australia unique but it made conflict among Australians as well. It is good to have different races of friends together. However, you have to know and understand taboos of the different races. Therefore, when you get to know them well, it will increase the relationship between each other. The main reason behind the conflict of the Australian is they don’t even bother to know other races. That situation makes the thing worse and creates problems. Multiculturalism is implying that the country is good because many foreigners wanted to migrate over there. For instances, in Malaysia, parents like to send their children to Australia to education.
