Scene 6 Desmond’s top had become soaked with his tears. He crouched in the corner as he attempted to stay off the camera. He knew that it was foolish to try, mostly because they would want to know his reaction to this new level of severity in terms of punishment. Dr. James started to speak and ask questions, just as he had before the punishments began. Today no threats were given on his children's lives during this session. He looked at his phone to see a missed call. Putting the phone to his ear it began to ring. “Dad, Mom wanted to know if you will have to work late again tonight,” the young voice said. “Son,” Dr. James said. “Tell your mother I will be home soon. I am just leaving the office now.” “Okay Dad,” his son said. “Just wanted you to know that we are having hamburgers.
