The beach was no longer warm and sunny. Instead, it had become a barren place where the leaves turned into monsters lurking in the water. It was no longer filled with songs. Instead, it had become an echo of what it once was, the only sound was the rain colliding with the ocean. No longer filled with color. Instead, the green water that had glowed in the sun, the water had turned black no simmer on the water’s surface. There was no moonlight that night just the just the quietest sound of waves washing over her feet which were coated in sand. The moon had seemed to have disappeared that day as the rain slowly made contact with the vast cold waters surrounding her. She stood there for a while looking off into the distance as if looking for something, someone. The waves nipped at her toes and came in waves of rage and sadness; engulfing her feet each time before slowing draining away back into the ocean and the sand.
