1.①The ultimate goal of the director and the theme of the movie Divorce Italian Style is to mock as well as criticize the absurdity of the morality of the Italians such as the laws of the marriage during that period. The movie exhibit sarcasm in relation to the phenomenon of corruption in Italian society throughout the movie. In the scene that is approaching the end, the judge determines a three-year sentence in the prison which is even shorter than the minimum sentence. 2.⑷Editing: the screen switches to the beginning where Fefe was on the train, he is leisurely wiping his mouth with a contempt look which shows a notable contrast with the miserable and pitiful look he had in court. The director's style: As soon as seeing the launch of rocket on a newspaper, he imagined his wife being sent to the outer space on the rocket with her symbolic laugh . Moreover, on the beach, he imagined his wife being buried in the sand. And when he showed a smile because of this fantasy, his wife thought it was happy smile. Then he surrounded her with wild flower while she was laughing, which can be easily deemed as a loving couple from others' point of view. However, comparing with the dark thought of Fefe, this reveal a striking contrast and displays the directors's style of black comedy. When the doctor spread the elopement of his wife and her lovers to the public, they first sympathize with him, but later began to ridicule him. He became a public laughing target and the shame of his family which even caused her sister's fiancé to cancel the engagement . This reflects the corruption of the society at that time. The real fun is the fantasy, absurdity, insatiable desire of characters. At the end of the film, the scene which I mentioned above is full of hints and irony. It enables us to see how transient this fiery love and desire as well as the happiness which went through all the schemes and sacrifice are. I saw the enthusiasm of Fefe, although he did kill his wife, I still cannot help but be infected by his insistent pursuit of love and earnest desire. Moreover, the exaggerated performance and some amusing expressions of the characters really makes this a movie that I will not regret to see. This film not only provides entertainment for the public, but also reach a certain depth that only the drama or the tragedy can
Modern day directors use a variety of methods to hold ones interest. Ethan Hawke and Kenneth Branagh’s created versions of Hamlet that shared some similarities, but ultimately had many differences in respects to an audience’s appeal. An appealing movie is one that has an alluring ambiance and an intellectual stimulus. With these two movie versions, a setting and a mood forced an audience to acquire specific emotions, but Ethan Hawke’s version generated emotions more strongly and effectively. Also, these movies had extremely different uses of music and visuals, but both movie versions incorporated them well for the ambiance it tried to obtain. Finally, both movie versions drew characters to captivate the audience; however in Ethan Hawke’s version, the characters were used so effectively that it was easy to feel involved with them. While both these versions of Hamlet had a captivating ambiance, Ethan Hawke’s version was more appealing due to the intellectual incentive that it offered.
One could easily dismiss movies as superficial, unnecessarily violent spectacles, although such a viewpoint is distressingly pessimistic and myopic. In a given year, several films are released which have long-lasting effects on large numbers of individuals. These pictures speak

...er apparently created successful persuasive appeals for the crowd to be attracted and enjoy a movie that will be funny, colorful, and full of adventures that eventually will teach a life experience to the public.
Even though there is a great amount of audience participation, one really has to turn your attention to the actors in the movie. It takes a special kind of person to really understand the movie they are in.
Almost doctors and physicians in the world have worked at a hospital, so they must know many patients’ circumstances. There are a few possible reasons why the townspeople conformed and turned against the doctor. However, I have come to the conclusion that the most likely reason for their behavior was because of his brother’s influence on the townsp...
In his essay, “It’s Just a Movie: A Teaching Essay for Introductory Media Classes”, Greg M. Smith argues that analyzing a film does not ruin, but enhances a movie-viewing experience; he supports his argument with supporting evidence. He addresses the careful planning required for movies. Messages are not meant to be telegrams. Audiences read into movies to understand basic plotlines. Viewers should examine works rather than society’s explanations. Each piece contributes to Smith’s argument, movies are worth scrutinizing.
As an audience, we become involved in the plot not through learning about characters’ backgrounds and traits. Instead, we learn information at the same time through the mechanics of the plot and editing. We are made to work to understand the workings of the plot. As we watch the film unfold, the editing takes the along for the ride rather than watching from a distance. the audience and characters sweat together as surprises arise in the well-thought out plan and the way the movie ...

First of all, I was touched by the following statement “ You can be mad as a mad dog at the way things went. You can swear, curse the fates, regret everything you ever did but when it comes to the end. You have to let it go”. Actually, I was in a gloomy mood before I watched this film, something really grieved happened and I was lost and confused. I cursed the fate and blame everyone and everything include myself. Nevertheless, the word “let it go” helped me lay my burdens down and I understood that something I had to accept truth which had happened and let it
The survival of theatre lies in the very nature of humankind: its inner voyeuristic drive. The desire to watch other people dealing with their conflicts and fates challenges as well as reinforces values and the morality of society.
