Copyright is a protection for authors, composers or artists and creators who create innovative idea base work. Copyright law is important and delicate because its role is to protect the interests of the creator, but also allows access to that information. It designed to make sure that creators receive appropriate rights for their own ideas and creativity, and to promote artistic creativity by protecting the creator.

In the United States Constitution it states “The Congress shall have power ... to promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings
In other words, one of the most delicate goals of copyright is to strike a balance between protecting creative works and allowing the public to use them.2
Protection by copyright law gives creators incentives to produce new works and distribute them to the public. Without the laws of ‘copyright’ inventions would be created faster and more easily because every creation has an origin and is developed from its origin. By having to follow the guidelines of ‘copyright’ new inventions are prevented and made harder to invent.

In my opinion, Copyright does damage creativity. I think this because it makes the options limited for the person who would like to make something and I think this affects a persons creativity. Creativity is mainly about the things that you make yourself but creativity becomes better if you take ideas from other people which are pretty good. I think that if copyright didn’t exist, there would be many popular videos in youtube and many very creative works.
Copyright is both good and bad for different people. Copyright is good because the people who make songs or movies usually don’t want people to take their ideas because they want the work to be credited to them. If you make something of your own and someone steals it, you would be very mad and you would feel like other people thinks its that persons work but it actually isn’t. The only downfall to copyright is (like I said above) hinders creativity. It gives you limited options to creativity, which is quite sad. Creativity should be free and to do whatever it
