The nursing profession is becoming an increasingly stressful occupation, with increasing rates of conflict, burnout and mental fatigue (Larahjeira, 2012). According to estimations, more than 20% of a manager's time is devoted to conflict management (Kaitelidou et al., 2012). If conflict exists in health care settings, it can damage long-term professional and interpersonal relationships, which results in having a negative impact on patient care and stress to the health workers due to gap in communication to transfer accurate information (Larahjeira, 2012). However Guidroz (2012) stated that some time nurses are working under pressure and stressful situation, which can lead to destructive interpersonal relationship with other colleagues, and they are so occupied in their work to reflect upon and to resolve it. As a result patient care will be compromised and organization would lose its productivity (Larahjeira, 2012). Kunic & Jackson (2013) also suggested that Conflict and stress is the root cause for any hazard in patient care, there are medications error, improper communication, lack of respect, delay care, cultural and religious values violation, which would have a direct impact on image of organization, as a result employee turnover and job dissatisfaction will be escalated (Kunic & Jackson, 2013).
