Patrick star is actually went to a community college but doesn’t remember what he study so many of people in bikini bottom thinks he’s dumb. Homer Simpson and his family have been banned from every states except North Dakota and Arizona. Stewie Griffin had a normal size head until he was on a bed and bounced off the bed and hit the ceiling making his head into a football head. Patrick star and Homer Simpson share the same character traits of being lazy and have short attention span. They both zone out when they are being talk to or when they're explaining something to them. Stewie is the youngest child of the family which he mostly wants attention. The three fictional characters that most represent my personality are Patrick star from Spongebob …show more content…
Squarepants for his laziness and lack of common sense, Homer Simpson from The Simpsons for his confusion about everything, along with his also laziness, and Stewie Griffin from Family Guy for his cleverness and for being the youngest in the family. Not only is Patrick a starfish that lives underwater in a rock with his best friend spongebob who lives in a pineapple next door from him, we both share the same traits as being lazy, also lack of common sense.
When Patrick star was introduced to Spongebob Squarepants, he was at home in his rock sleeping because he is lazy and unemployed. In the episode where patrick was introduced was the episode “Help Wanted” in which the krusty krab was hiring a fry cook, Spongebob was not qualify to work for the krusty krab because he didn't have a spatula. In which patrick is at home unemployed and sleeping all day under his rock. Just like patrick star we share same interest like lack of common sense sometimes when spongebob ask him to do something simple he seems to do the opposite of what he said. Sometimes when someone asks me something I seem to have a brain fart.Like patrick, I have always been lazy to do most of the stuff my parents tell me to do. For example, when they tell me to clean my room or wash the dishes I don't do it. Patrick is also like that because he just sits in his rock and doesn't do …show more content…
anything. The second character I picked was Homer Simpson from The Simpson. We both have some similarity from each other like he has a short attention span, gets angry fast, and also lazy.In the movie The simpson Marge his wife was talking to homer about how his grandpa was right about how they were gonna be trap in a dome forever. Homer wasn’t paying attention and instead was thinking of something else when marge was talking to him. Homer has a short attention span that he ignores marge when she talks to him about how his dad was correct about being trap forever. Like homer, whenever someone is explaining something to me or just telling me something important I tend to not listen because I lose focus on what their saying.Just like how Homer Simpson gets angry fast at his kids bart for doing something to him i'm just like that just like that. In school I don’t show my anger on anyone but at home when my older brother picks on me or tells me stuff I get pretty mad fast. Also when I'm hungry and haven't ate in a while I can get angry for no reason. It’s weird how I can get easily angry for such ridiculous reason like if their annoying me while im playing video games or just trying do homework.I developed this trait since I got to high school freshman year. That year change me in a big way because I use to be active playing outside soccer or basketball. Like homer I would want to keep my trait of being lazy and all but there's a time when I have to stop this and go out and do something like finding a job or actually studying. Even though stewie griffin is a clever baby being the youngest in the family.
We both have some interest in common like the care for dogs. When the character stewie griffin was introduced in the Family Guy, stewie was only 1 year old with a sophisticated attitude. Stewie gets along very well with his best friend brian which is his dog who can talk. Stewie mostly does every activity with brian such as time traveling to the past or to the future. Stewie love his dog so much he admire him as if he is his dad because he cares for about him than anyone else. Brian gets run over by a car one episode that everyone thought he wasn’t going to make it but, stewie had faith he would because he can’t live without him. Stewie’s love for his dog is everything to him because he is just a baby that has no friends but only his dog brian. Stewie has to do everything with his best friend to help him out with what he needs. Like stewie we both share mostly the same traits like were the youngest from the family, we both share the same love for our dogs then anyone in the house. I enjoy playing fetch or catch with my dogs because they're my best friends since I was a baby. When I was a baby my mom had brought me and my brothers two puppies. They have always been so playful with me playing catch and everything.Such as stewie when he was a baby he had a young puppy named brian and has been with him all these years being best friends just like me and my dogs.I love my dogs much as like stewie because
I wouldn't know what to do if i didn’t have them. In conclusion, these three characters have similar character traits as do. For example how both Patrick and Homer are lazy and have short attention span. Stewie on the other hand is a clever baby who just seeks attention from his mom but she ignores him because he just a baby. I have that same character trait from him because since I'm the youngest from my family no one ever listens to wait I say. I developed some of these traits when I entered high school I became lazy.
The Andy Griffith Show and I love Lucy have been two of the most watched shows in the history of television aired on CBS. I Love Lucy was a scripted sitcom recorded in front of a live studio audience with multiple cameras to give it better comic energy. It took place in an apartment in New York and her husband was an upcoming Cuban American who sung in a band. Although this was a black and white film, Lucy and Ricardo had colorful personalities. Lucy was always dressed nicely and Ricardo was always in a suit or business like attire. The house was always spotless as she was a housewife and an excellent mother later on. Lucy had a way of getting into trouble but Ricky somehow managed to get them out. She also displayed some traits that women were stereotyped for such as not showing or looking your age, being careless with money, and other secretive things. Ricardo on the other hand was the total opposite of Lucy which in the end balanced out their relationship. He has more patience than most and when he gets extremely mad, he would speak reall...
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (2007) women’s labor force participation raised from 33.9% in 1950 to 57.5% in 1990. The TV shows Married with Children and Roseanne are similar and different in the way they portray that statistic through their gender roles. Married with Children shows the more traditional type of gender roles, while Roseanne shows gender roles that were not as common in past decades. Both shows exemplify gender roles that were common and rare compared to decades prior. The TV shows, Married with Children and Roseanne are similar and different because of the gender roles each television show displays.
Sitcoms like The Simpsons, are used to show that the traditional family is not what it is played out to be on other shows like Father Knows Best, The Jetsons and Leave it to Beaver. The Simpsons challenges and upholds the traditional sitcom while representing the American nuclear family as a unique and lovable family. Like most shows that come out of Hollywood, The Simpsons is pro-Democrat and against Republican views. This show suggests that not following the traditional family roles will you give you a happier life. Gender roles are often used in the show to demonstrate masculinity and femininity. Through satire and parody, The Simpsons addresses gender roles and the typical problems and behavior of an average American family.
Move over Jetson there is a new beloved animated family in town, the Simpsons. The Simpson’s originally aired on December 17th, 1989 and has yet to make us stop laughing. The Simpson’s follow a not so typical American family from the fictional town of Springfield. The episode follow the satirical lives of Homer (Dad), Marge (mom), Bart (brother), Lisa (sister), and Maggie (little sister). Though this is a satirical TV show many episodes provide excellent points and example of material covered in a sociology class. The episode “Marge not be Proud” gives multiple examples of deviant behavior and this essay will discuss two of them.
The Big Five Theory can be used to identify Clark’s low conscientiousness, demonstrated by his irresponsibility, low self-discipline, and erratic behavior. The psychoanalytic approach, with a particular emphasis on regression as a defense mechanism, helps explain why Clark has such enormous emotional and mental breakdowns when his idea of the “perfect Christmas” fails to come to fruition. Of the two, the trait approach is preferable due to the ability to better predict Clark’s personality and future behaviors, though additional analysis from Bowlby’s Attachment Theory would offer useful insight. Given personality is a complex combination of factors that converge to create the unique identity of each individual (also applicable to entertaining and unpredictable characters such as Clark Griswold), it makes sense that multiple approaches and analyses can yield useful insight regarding
Do you ever wonder what type of characteristics of a fictional character you have? Everybody wants to know themselves. Everybody wants to know what other people see in them or what they think when they look at them. The three fictional characters that most represent my personality are Bugs Bunny from Looney Tunes for his seriousness at times and goofiness, Marvin the Martian for his quietness and cleverness, and SpongeBob Squarepants for being so gullible.
Often times in our life, we may come across a lifestyle of a character from a fictional book, movie or tv show, that is different than our owns. It could be a life that we would dream to have or a life that we could not possibly imagine having. Focusing on the childhood aspects of a lifestyle, my young self would often compare my childhood to the protagonist in one my favorite cartoons (“Fairly Odd Parents”) Timmy Turner. Timmy’s childhood was a lifestyle that enthralled me from how similar yet different it was from my own.
Socialization plays in important part in the passing on of culture from generation to generation. It is defined as the lifelong process of social interaction through which we acquire a self-identity and the skills needed for survival. The agents of socialization provide the necessary social interactions to teach culture to individuals in a society. The four primary agents of socialization include parents, education, peers, and media. The most pervasive one, media, has a major role in teaching messages about the norms in culture. The purpose of this project was to observe the subtle messages that a TV series, like The Simpsons, send about gender, class, disability/ability, and age.
cower in fear and a thriller should keep you on the edge of your seat.
In Hungry, Hungry Homer, Homer Simpson goes on a hunger strike because the owner of the Springfield Isotopes would not tell the truth. They were planning to move the baseball team to Albuquerque. He is an active citizen because he is defending what he believes and his actions are justified.
Joe Raposo was a very talented man. He was a composer, songwriter, pianist, and a television writer and lyricist. He was well known for his children's television series Sesame Street. Joe Raposo was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, on February 8 1937. He got his love of music from his father, who was a music teacher and conductor, although, he did a major in law, and graduated later on, he still ended up being a conductor. One of Joe's first pieces that he had conducted was an out of town tryout for broadway. The show he was trying out for was called "Sing Muse!" After starting his career on broadway, he later composed many more hits on broadway. Finally in 1969, he started working on his Sesame Street collection. Joe contributed happiness, and enjoyment to the music society, and younger kids on his Children's Television series of Sesame Street. Sadly, after his years of success with Sesame Street, his years had to end. Joe Raposo died February 5, 1989, 2 days before his 52nd birthday.
We had many common things. We both were born and brought up in the same city in the big house with siblings. Both being youngest were very pampered. And we were the most liked person in our family too. We both are very close to our family and are still in touch with our immediate relatives. Although we grew up in different era, we both were brought up with similar set of traditional
...e can be flamboyant and peppy. Stewie's genius is what makes people love him. His genius is what makes the show entertaining. The Griffins are one of the most difficult families on television, and without them Family Guy would not be what it is today.
A person’s personality has been the subject of psychological scrutiny for many years. Psychologists have drawn up several theories in an attempt to accurately predict and determine one’s personality. Foremost amongst these, is the “Big Five Trait Theory” which stemmed from Raymond B. Cattell’s theory.
I am sentimental, out-going, indecisive, understanding, curious, naive, lazy, and young. I want to be ... , well a lot of things, and growing is discovering what they are. I feel people cannot see the potential within, although there is no one to blame but myself. I look to others for approval instead of to myself. I aim to please; it leads to approval. I don’t like to discuss my faults; I pity myself.
