Have you ever wondered if you’re similar to someone else? If so, you're not alone.You might be surprised to learn that two seemingly different people can have similarities. In the story “ Avery’s Gift” and the article “ Chicken of the Sea is So Wacky-of Course it was Created by Kids’’, Avery’s father is similar to Elison’s father because both parents helped their kids with what they were creating/making and they have knowledge/experience on what their kids were making. To begin, both Avery’s father and Elison’s father helped them with what they were making. Both parents did their part to help their kids. Moreover, both parents have enough knowledge on the things their kids are creating. In paragraph 3 of the article, “Chicken of the Sea is So Wacky-of Course it was Created by Kids,” it states, “ Ellison’s dad, Viet Nguyen (who is also very good at writing books), helped him with the story, and got in touch with Thi Bui to see if she might like to illustrate it.” Nothing can compare to a father's efforts in helping his kid. Without the basic knowledge both fathers had on the matter, they would find it difficult to help their kids.
