Whether the Holocaust could have been avoided remains a topic of debate for many people today, the two sides have evidence as to why both their accusations could be correct, but there are some very reasonable and likely ways the holocaust could of never happened. There are many reasons as to how the Holocaust and WWII together could've been prevented by the actions of the people in charge before Hitler started to slowly gain more and more power over Germany. Negligence of the German government as well as many surrounding countries is also highly to blame for the reason of WWII and the Holocaust. During this time they became focused on ending their depression as well as being aware of what other countries thought of them after WWII, which wasn’t in a positive light Once Hitler came into the picture most people listened to what he had to say because it was the sign of nationalism that they needed to hear during this time which lead people to get easy manipulated. “This gave Germany an image of an underdeveloped country, or even worse, of a criminal receiving its punishment. Germany was in a desperate situation without any solutions or answers and on top of that in huge debt and so Hitler decided to blame everything on Jewish citizens as a Huge Hate crime in his speeches that led to groups of easy manipulated people listen to him. Since they got no answers from the government, they decided to follow Hitler and create their own solution following the strategies and words of Hitler. The things that Hitler said and did where unethical, but slowly believing about the superior race more than half of Germany was consumed with superiority against mostly jewish people and minorities that Hitler mentioned and would blindingly listen to what he said much like how North Koreans follow what Kim Jong Un says believing they are better than the people in different countries that look upon them. “He was supported by industrialists and bankers who feared a Communist revolution. They saw him as a savior for the country’s problems. The Holocaust could have been avoided in many ways, the main way is, if people worked as a team to overpower Hitler than the Holocaust would have been avoided. But Hitler, being Hitler wanted power and nothing else. By working together than Hitler could have been taken down. Yet countries wanted to not to get involved with a Nazi Party capable of unimaginable dangers and did not want to start another World War, instead they wanted life to be better and peaceful. So by not helping overthrow Hitler they let him gain more and more power, which eventually lead to the Holocaust killing thousands of people, which could have been avoided if countries stepped in and stopped
Hitler blamed the Jews for the evils of the world. He believed a democracy would lead to communism. Therefore, in Hitler’s eyes, a dictatorship was the only way to save Germany from the threats of communism and Jewish treason. The Program of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party was the instrument for the Nazis to convince the German people to put Hitler into power. Point one of the document states, “We demand the union of all Germans in a great Germany on the basis of the principle of self-determination of all peoples.” 1 This point explicates the Nazi proposition that Germany will only contain German citizens and also, that these citizens would display his or her self-determination towards Germany to the fullest.

Hitler’s rise to power before World War II was due to his anger at Germany’s defeat in World War I and the punishment Germany received from Britain and France. He also directed his anger at Jews and communists he believed contributed to that defeat. The Nazi Party, controlled by Adolf Hitler, ruled Germany from 1933 to 1945. In 1933, Hitler became the Chancellor of Germany and the Nazi government began to take over. Hitler became a very influential speaker and attracted new members to his party by blaming Jews for Germany’s problems and developed a concept of a “master race.” The Nazis believed that Germans were “racially superior” and that the Jewish people were a threat to the German racial community and also targeted other groups because of their “perceived racial inferiority” such as Gypsies, disabled persons, Polish people and Russians as well as many others. In 1938, Jewish people were banned from public places in Germany and many were sent to concentration camps where they were either murdered or forced to work.
As Hitler was rising in power, his plan all along was to “make Germany better,” as he thought he was doing. In his eyes, making Germany better was everyone being equal. He wasn’t going to hesitate to take the first chance he could to jump on the Jews. He would act on any little reason he could. A German official was assassinated in Paris and Germans were angry because it was in the hands of a Jewish teenager. It gave the Germans a chance to attack at the Jews (United States Holocaust Memorial Museum). There were a lot of unnecessary laws passed that were meant to take away the Jewish peoples happiness. For example, they had a curfew of 9:00 pm and 5:00 am in the summer, and 8:00 pm and 6:00 am in the winter. Kristallnacht, or otherwise named, The Night of the Broken, was like a turning point for the Jewish people that started off the Holocaust (American-Israeli Cooperative Enterprise). Hitler made a lot of laws like the one stated above and continued to do so to try and get a reaction out of them.
The Holocaust was an extremely horrific period of history. Millions were killed and lost everything, including money, family, and dignity. However, it has taught many lessons. We can study it today to make sure nothing like it ever happens again.
Causes of the Holocaust The Holocaust took place for a number of reasons, some of which were long term and short term. The main reasons are for centuries. Millions upon millions of people were killed in the holocaust, that is just one of many genocides. There are many similarities between different genocides. Throughout history, many aggressors have started and attempted genocides and violence on the basis of someone being the "other".

From our knowledge we know there is three ways this can be done…by take over by force, also known as a 'coup d'etat', in a more democratic and just way or by a political deal. After Germany lost World War I, it was in a national state of humiliation. Their economy was in the drain, and they had their hands full paying for the reparations from the war. Then a man named Adolf Hitler rose to the position of Chancellor and realized his potential to inspire people to follow. Hitler promised the people of Germany a new age; an age of prosperity with the country back as a superpower in Europe. Hitler had a vision, and this vision was that not only the country be dominant in a political sense, but that his ‘perfect race’, the ‘Aryans,’ would be dominant in a cultural sense. His steps to achieving his goal came in the form of the Holocaust. The most well known victims of the Holocaust were of course, the Jews. However, approximately 11 million people were killed in the holocaust, and of those, there were only 6 million Jews killed. The other 5 million people were the Gypsies, Pols, Political Dissidents, Handicapped, Jehovah’s witnesses, Homosexuals and even those of African-German descent. Those who were believed to be enemies of the state were sent to camps where they were worked or starved to death.

Hitler came to power in Germany in 1933, after World War 1 when tensions were high because the Treaty of Versailles blamed Germany for the destruction the war caused and they were faced with the payment for all the damages, which sent Germany into economic downfall. The Nazi party got a lot of electoral votes that year in the government, and started creating propaganda against the Jews; they blamed the Jews for the terrible things happening in Germany at the time. Some of the propaganda the Nazi party made were pictures of Jews pointing out what makes them Jewish and their distinctive traits, so you can spot them. They also put the Star of David on all Jews clothing, so they could easily be spotted in public.
