My contrast experience by college
Very young, I feel excited about the idea of going to college and start studying the career of Doctor of Medicine, I knew that the road was long and very difficult, but always hoping to achieve my dreams. In the pre-university period was always surrounded by friends with whom he shared the same goal, we had fun did sports and studying to enter college. In the summer of 1986 we entered the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences of our city.
When classes started, everything was new and unknown, difficult but interesting topics. There were students from different parts of the country and some foreigners. Little by little I was making friends, because we had the same interest, we began to study medicine. Despite the dense content of classes and subjects, I learned them quickly. Teachers demanded and had a high level of preparation, always gave me difficult task, but my only concern was to study and do all my homework on time so I could have fun and use my free time to go to the movies or sports. Not everything was fun, there were times were I had to study very hard. I spent six long years, studying and many nights between books and

notebooks, finally, when we reach a conclusion, some of my classmates failed, and might not be able to graduate for several reasons. My friends and I got our precious diploma, did graduate, and became Doctor of Medicine. Many years later, I experienced the same feeling as when I was about to graduate from high school, with some similarities and important differences.
I feel excited, study nursing, which means something very important for my future and my family. The difference is that this time the friends studies are far from me. I have only my wife and children, I live in a different country. The friends I've known, I see them from one class to another. The themes are the same for years, but with the difference that taught in another language, hindering understanding and learning, adding that'm not as young as it was before, the capacity of analysis and reasoning required me time additional. Teachers are also trained and demanding, as they have to be in this career teaching on human health and disease
prevention. As another difference between then and now is the lack of free time, today we all work more than eight hours a day, plus we have a partner and children to care for, to spend time on their homework, meetings and also household chores, so you have very little time available and sometimes tired of everything we've done during the day we have to make an extra effort to study and solve exams homework and school guided by teachers in the classes. Now, I feel excited and optimistic. I'm sitting in a classroom taking nursing classes, surrounded by students from different places, we are all foreigners in this great country, we share assignments and tests, have strengths and weaknesses, but our teachers are willing to teach every day new experience in the field of medicine, with more responsibilities and less time but with the same goal which is to get our diploma. They are two different stages in my life, both are peculiarities, depending on the time and place where they occur. I am happy to have enjoyed before and after my university studies, despite the challenge has been for me to do. I have achieved all the support of my children and my wife, I hope not disappoint, they want like me who can beat this challenge which destiny has placed in my hands I hope that other students have the same opinion as me. I wish all achieve the title of nursing Rafael Albear
I was born in a small town of -----------of underdeveloped country of Bangladesh. I grew up speaking Bengali, wore traditional clothes, created intricate henna designs on women’s hands, and performed classical Bengali music. Since childhood, thought other than becoming a doctor never registered in my mind. My high grades in high school helped me to obtain admission in one of the most desirable place to learn Medicine, Mayemen Medical College.
Both the films, The Blind Side and Rudy, address many common issues. Two in particular that stand out are education and sports. Both Michael Oher and Daniel Ruettiger (Rudy) pursue their education in order to follow their dreams. In these cases, both dreamed of becoming college football players. The long journeys they take to reach their goals bring out each characters motivation and dedication to get to the top.
Some people think that if they could only change one aspect of their lives, it would be perfect. They do not realize that anything that is changed could come with unintended consequences. “The Monkey’s Paw” by W.W. Jacobs and “The Third Wish” by Joan Aiken both illustrate this theme. They demonstrate this by granting the main character three wishes, but with each wish that is granted, brings undesirable consequences. The main idea of this essay is to compare and contrast “The Monkey’s Paw” and “The Third Wish.” Although the “The Monkey’s Paw” and “The Third Wish” are both fantasies and have similar themes, they have different main characters, wishes, and resolutions.
While some differences between Ventura College and the colleges that Andrew Hacker and Claudia Dreifus wrote about in their essay are evident, the similarities are salient. Ventura College meets the characteristics that Hacker and Dreifus described in their essay, Ventura College has a low tuition rates, small class sizes, and all students have access to counselors and instructors. The only difference between Ventura College and the colleges that Hacker and Dreifus talked about is funding. Ventura College doesn’t cost a lot of money to attend, but is experience it provides actually worth the price?
When I was in Korea, I used to be a volunteer interpreter in international clinic. As a volunteer interpreter, my job was not demanded professional medical interpreting skills. One day, I got a call from a nurse who had a foreign patient. She told me that the patient was an English man and he needed an interpreter when he sees a doctor. The nurse also said that this consultation did not contain serious or difficult medical terminology. When I went to the waiting room, I recognized that he is my former English professor. He also remembered me so we exchanged greetings. While we were exchanging greetings, the nurse asked about our relationship and I told her that I took his class in last semester. When the nurse heard my story, she said that it might be good if the patient has a company who know him. At that time, I thought that our relationship, professor and student, would not be a problem to be an interpreter for him. Therefore, I showed him into the doctor’s room and started...
Students have been writing essays since education was formalized centuries ago. There are several formats that they are taught throughout the course of their formal education, two of the most common being; Narrative, and Descriptive. Both of these have distinct characteristics that define them, and while they share many similar qualities and are developed to make the reader immerse themselves in the story. Narratives tend to have the power to capture and persuade on a deeper level than most descriptive papers. Two prime examples are the narrative I Want a Wife by Judy Brady and the descriptive essay Fish Cheeks by Amy tan. While they both do an exceptional job at delivering a lesson Brady’s causes you to think from the beginning, her use of the rhetorical devices such as pathos, ethos, and logos are incorporated with a heavy use of sarcasm and harsh remarks that claws for the reader’s attention.
"Tomorrow is the first day of what I will become." I wrote this in my diary the night before my first day of college. I was anxious as I imagined the stereotypical college room: intellectual students, in-depth discussions about neat stuff, and of course, a casual professor sporting the tweed jacket with leather elbows. I was also ill as I foresaw myself drowning in a murky pool of reading assignments and finals, hearing a deep, depressing voice ask "What can you do with your life?" Since then, I've settled comfortably into the college "scene" and have treated myself to the myth that I'll hear my calling someday, and that my future will introduce itself to me with a hardy handshake. I can't completely rid my conscience from reality, however. My university education and college experience has become a sort of fitful, and sleepless night, in which I have wonderful dreams and ideas, but when I awaken to apply these aspirations, reality sounds as a six thirty alarm and my dreams are forgotten.
High school, along with college are two major stepping stones in a person’s life. Many individuals are able to make the transitions from high school to college pretty easily, while there are others that find the transition into college to be somewhat challenging and hard to adjust to. When I made the jump from high school to college, I found that there are vast differences between the two, and both had very diverse environments. I found the key differences concerning high school and college to be the level of academic responsibilities, time management and scheduling, as well as the methods learning to be the main differences.
When someone is younger they look forward to the milestones in their life in which they hope to see. A couple of them will be the beginning High school and then College. Those two events are two different jumps most people will take in their life. At first the student may begin to become intimidated by the fact they will be entering college. When a students begins their high school career they will immediately begin to start looking forward to college, and the freedoms in which it brings. Once the student graduates and starts their college career they realize there are a lot of things in college that high schools have in common, as well as many differences in which they did not expect.

When I first enrolled here at State University, I never thought I would ever be in the position to graduate. Finishing college was a huge goal growing up but it was also my biggest fear. But after three and a half years of dedication I plan to get my degree in the fall. Getting this far in college was not easy, it took encouragement from family, dedication, and assistance from others to reach this position.
High school, as well as college, is just another part of our lives. But in order to go to college, we have to go through the agonizing four years of high school. In those four years, we experience loads of homework, trying to choose classes with friends, and the minuscule amount of freedom that is given. College is similar to when it comes to all the homework, choosing classes, and sometimes not being trusted. But they are still different in many ways. High school and college have many differences but similarities as well.

Comparing college to high school is like comparing a fish to a bird. They are both animals, but both have great differences. Some people say that college is supposed to be the best time of your life, while others say that high school was. I believe that it just depends on what you did during both. For some, the freedom of college was the greatest thing, and for others the freedom was awful because they were so used to their parents being right by them when they needed something. The differences of college and high school are almost as broad as the similarities between these two great times in a person’s life.
Education plays a very important role in a person’s life. Basic education is attained through primary school and high school. Education may be further perused after graduating from high school by attending university. This decision can make a person’s future brighter because, in most cases it is really hard to get a well-paid job and live a stable life without having a bachelor’s degree. However, people who want to peruse higher education must know that although there are similarities, there are also some differences between high school and university in terms of assignments, teachers, and responsibilities.
