Too Big To Fall Nothing will describe the dreadful event that took place on September, 11, 2001. Citizens in New York were so frightened and surprised, when the planes crashed into the Twin Towers causing it to collapse. People who were working inside the WTC were panicking. A man, who was in one of the towers said “We are young men, we’re not ready to die” The catastrophic events that occurred on 911, caused the American people to change their view on the security of airplane transportation. At 5:45 am, the hijackers passed through the security in the Portland International Jetport of Maine. They were seen carrying concealed weapons with their carry on baggages. Betty Ong, an attendant on Flight 11, contacted the airline minutes later. She said, “I don't know but I think we are being hijacked.” She also stated, that she saw someone being stabbed in the business class. Earlier, one of the hijackers on the plane told the passengers. “If you try to make any moves, you'll endanger yourself and the aeroplane. Just stay quiet” The passengers danger increased, when Madeline Amy Sweeney called AA Flight Services and reported, “Something is wrong. We are in a rapid descent we are all over the place." Then the passengers gave their last words as Flight 11 crashed into the north face of the North Tower killing innocent people who worked there. A firefighter sprinted into the tower, looking for anyone to save from the burning flames that existed above. He saw “Numerous civilians in all stairwells” and that “numerous burn victims (were) coming down” But instead of going back down to safety he told a dispatcher, “We’re still heading up” Another firefighter called them frantically saying, “The floor is completely engulfed. We're on the floor, and we can't breathe, and it's very, very, very hot.” The building then collapsed shortly after.
