Tim Burton used a lot of symbolism throughout the story to show theme and as a result, we can know a lot more about Edward’s personality and about what he wants most. One thing that exhibits Ed’s childish side was the bushes; for example, the dinosaurs and the dolphins he created. The bush shaped hand that was in the dark mansion’s yard encapsulates Ed’s want for hands. Through these examples we can see the theme, sometimes your wants in life can shape what you do in your life because Ed’s wants showed through his actions.
Possibly the first crime that Edward committed was killing his older brother. This has significance on the psychological level because Edward’s older brother began to disagree with their mother’s world perspective and I believe this was the motivation for this crime. He loved his mother very much possibly to the point of Parent-Child Relational Problems and could not handle that his brother began to discredit her. Edward was not charged with killing his brother because they were burning a marsh and it was determined to be asphyxiation from the fire. It is suspicious because his brother was not in an area that was burned and his body was found with bruises.
Atticus, my father, is a good parent, because he respects children, teaches us about open-mindedness, and maintains closeness and trust with us. This quote briefly tells us about it, 'Jem and I found our father satisfactory: he played with us, read to us, and treated us with courteous detachment.'
This went on for three years and the progression of the book showed very clearly God working on Edward, until the end of the book when he invited Christ into his heart and accepting Him as Lord and Savior at the young age of 73.

In addition to being a man who made revolutionary changes to our nation, he was also a devoted husband and father to his four sons. Despite his intimidating 6'4" figure, he was a kind, warm-hearted man, who actually cared about the common people. His family and friends had a substantial influence on him and they played an extremely important role in his life. They supported him in whatever he set his mind to and they kept him sane when he felt like he was about ready to breakdown during difficult times. Corporate billionaire Edward Cole and mechanic Carter Chambers share nothing in common except for their terminal illnesses. In the beginning of the film, after receiving word that they have less than a year to live, the two men cope in different ways. After realizing that their time on earth is limited, Edward begins to panic, and begins to realize that he may not have fulfilled the life he was meant to live. However, one day Edward notices that Carter is writing notes on a yellow sheet of paper, but later finds it crumpled on the floor. The paper simply stated the lines “witness something truly majestic. Help a complete stranger”, out of curiosity Edward questioned Carter about its meaning. Therefore, Carter proceeded to tell him about the time he was in college and his philosophy teacher, instructed the class to make up a list of things you would want to do before you die, in other words a bucket list. Since, their time on earth was constrained, he thought he would make one, however, considering that death was imminent he ditched the idea. However, Edward disagreed and began adding to his own bucket list such as “skydiving. Kiss the most beautiful girl in the world. Get a tattoo”, and since time was of the essence they decided to leave the hospital and take a little

because of what his father told him as a young boy. His father said "he 's a true saint of God, a remover of worries and troubles, were it not for him I would have died miserably. This remark had stuck in his mind for years but became
His dedication to serving others inspired me to be a leader that put the best interest of others above myself. My father would leave whatever he was doing to help, if he was called to do so, without questioning it or complaining. Both of my parents showed me the importance of service as part of being a leader in their yearly trip to Nicaragua. They spent part of their summer every year in Nicaragua volunteering on mission trips; my mother worked in a clinic and my father helped to build churches, schools, houses, and many other things. My parents also taught me how to be a spiritual leader by encouraging me to stand up for what I believed in and to fight for what I knew was right. They taught me that as a believer, I had the responsibility of being a leader because people would look at me to set an example for how they should

A good parent makes a big difference not only in their child’s life, but in the lives of everyone that child effects. My father is what I would consider the epitome of a good parent. He may not have had the most successful life; some may argue that his life has been downright difficult. Surviving a car accident at the age of 9, raising two teenage daughters, going through a divorce, dealing with anorexia and self harm within the family, losing his dream and dealing with the death of the woman he loved. Throughout all of the peaks and pitfalls he has endured, he has surmounted and survived. I would classify my father as a survivor. Not the television show type survivor, just a regular guy rising above difficulty and maintaining his courteous character. I would imagine that some of these things would crush most people, or at least wear them away to a lesser person than they started out. One of the many trials in life is to endure through difficult times and to not let those difficult times break you, but to make you stronger.
