American Dream comparative analysis People talk about the ideals our founding fathers had for people who lived in America or moved to live here. And how they are so much more different than what the current expectations are when moving to America or just living in America. This essay will go over the differences and similarities. The idea is that everyone can do what they want and can live a better life in America compared to where they came from. What makes America different from other countries, what makes America better? The text says “That among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” This quote shows some of the ideals that the founding fathers had for the people that live in America. This also shows that even when the country was this idea of a fresh start of an American Dream, just the wants of the people moving here changed. This idea is also shown throughout the poem. The poem says, “Those of mechanics, each one singing his ast should be blithe and strong.” This quote talks about the modern concept of the American Dream, which is having a good and providing for your family and trying to create better lives for your kids. This quote also shows that not everyone's “American Dream” is going to be the same. Some people are going to get a job and just have a better environment than what their previous country had.
