What makes one life greater than the other? Must I be president of the United States of America, the King of England, a police officer, a mom or dad, or an athlete like Lebron James? Indeed, all these people have an important job to do. One is not greater than the other -each and every one of these people have a special place in this world given to them. So what is my place in this world? To be very honest I have a place but I just don’t know where it is and I’m discovering my place in this world little by little, day by day, and so forth. I have all the power in my hands to rise up and dictate my future. Being a freshman in college it is a trial and error process. I am trying out new things and seeing what I like. Events during my senior year and working during the summer have helped steer me in another direction. During my senior year I planned and figured out all the prices for a fundraiser. I lead that fundraiser and it was a big success it was a bigger turn out than I expected and people bought more T-shirts than I expected. With doing the fundraiser it took leadership to even execute the whole plan and give everyone their task and make sure things got handled. Also doing the fundraiser gave me an idea that I want my future to do with business. I just took time and went to different events that had to do with business which gave me idea to what I want to do. Now that I’m at St. John’s University, I’m here to further that interest in business and finance.
