Code of Chivalry was a "moral, religious and social code of knightly conduct," that shows "courage, honor and service" which developed between 1170 and 1220. It points out bravery, military skill, generosity in victory, loyalty, kindness and respect to women. Chivalry stems from the French chevalier, meaning knight. Industria or hardwork can also be closely linked to prowess, in the sense that to achieve winning a battle one must work hard. A true knight in medieval times has good judge of weapons. A knight would be able use any type of sword, he would be able to maintain the balance from his skill. A knight also knows their weapons and armor, he would have his own ideas for his own armor.
