I was getting off work from the jobsite 1095 Market Street at 7th Street in San Francisco on 8/6/2015 at around 4:35 pm. I was driving on 10th Street in the 2nd lane; my car was waiting for the traffic light at the intersection of 10th Street and Bryant Street. There are 5 lanes on 10th Street where I stopped. I stopped on the 2nd lane on 10th Street. The 1st lane (on my left side) must turn and go to Bryant Street. The lane I stayed in is the 2nd lane in which I can enter onto the Freeway 101 or Bryant Street. The 3rd lane (on my right side) has to go on the Freeway 101. There are arrows on each lane and signs on the street showing drivers the correct way to drive. As the light turned green, I started to move my car entering the Freeway 101. …show more content…
The traffic was very busy at the time. Suddenly, the car on my right side cut into my lane trying to go onto Bryant Street. His speed was very fast as he tried to cut turning into Bryant Street. I hit my brakes immediately to avoid collision. However, the car on my right still hit my car and I heard a crashing sound. At the time, his car was horizontally in front of my car already. I knew that my car was damaged. The car that hit me did not stop and kept going on Bryant Street. I shouted at him to stop and went after him. The other party finally stopped on Bryant Street about 100 feet from where the accident occurred, so I pulled over to examine the damages. I saw that my car’s right side light, bumper, valance and the mudguard were damaged quite badly. The other car did not show a big impact. I told the driver who caused the accident that he was not supposed to cut in and his lane had to go onto the 101 Freeway, but not Bryant Street. I didn’t do anything wrong. I told him that he was 100% responsible for the damages and requested him to show his insurance information to me. The other side denied responsibility and refused to exchange insurance information. To avoid further argument I called 911. As we were waiting for the police to arrive, a woman came by to check on us and I told her what had happened.
The lady also agreed with me that the other driver was wrong and she told him what he did was illegal. The other driver did not argue with the woman. As I was busy talking to the police, I did not have time to ask the woman for her contact information to be our witness. I told the policeman the incident in details. The policeman told me if no one was injured, he would not write a report. He asked us to show him our insurance information and he filled out a collision information card for me. As the police was examining the other party’s insurance information, I heard the police warn the other party that his insurance policy given to the police had expired as it showed year 2012 and that he needed to keep a current one in his car. The policeman just verbally warned the other party, but did not give him a ticket. After getting the insurance and driver information, the policeman asked me to take photos of my car and the road information and advised me to present the information to my insurance company. Due to busy traffic, the policeman asked me not to take photos of the intersection and asked us to leave the scene. The policeman has a number showing
“373”. I immediately reported the accident to my insurance adjuster when I got home at 5:30 pm, and sought his help to file a claim with the other party. About a week later, my insurance adjuster told me that the other party denied all responsibilities. I was very upset and attempted to call his adjuster. I could not contact him, so I talked to another adjuster about what happened. The next day, the other party’s adjuster contacted me and asked me to leave a statement. This was my second time leaving a statement. On the contrary, the other party’s adjuster told me that the statements didn’t match, so they wouldn’t take the responsibility, even before further investigation. I did not agree with his actions, so I told him that I will try to find evidence to prove him wrong. His adjuster told me that he would only believe what his client said to him and refused to examine my car. Since I only have one way insurance coverage, my adjuster told me that he could not do anything else to help me. None of the adjusters wanted to go further to investigate which party was responsible and examine the damages of the vehicles. This situation has affected my sleep and work. I am a honest person and have been a good citizen supporting the government laws. It was very unfortunate that I encountered this unfair treatment. However, I cannot tolerate “False” statement given by the other party to hurt the society. I am hoping that the righteousness can be found in court and I can be fairly given my right to defend the “Truth”.
“Excuse me, miss, can I see your license and registration, please?” Great. Pulled over once again, except this time I don’t even know what I did wrong. Apparently I made an unsafe lane change that resulted in an improper U-turn. I tried asking the officer what I did wrong, but as soon as I began speaking, he started talking over me. “Are you even from around here?” he asked me. “You look like you should’ve never even gotten your license.”
I exited my patrol vehicle and I made contact with the White male/ driver, later identified as David Lee Jones. I advised Jones of the reason for the traffic stop. Jones acknowledged running the steady red light and he stated that the "sun was blocking his view." I asked Jones to produce his driver's license, vehicle registration and insurance. Jones then advised "I want to be honest, my license is suspended." Jones did provide the vehicle's
On Monday April 11, 2016 at around 6:00 -7:30 a.m. I was in the process of getting into my county vehicle, which at the time was parked next to Mr. Patel’s county vehicle. Mr. Patel had backed his county vehicle into the parking spot with the back of his vehicle facing the building and I had parked my county vehicle the previous day with the front of the vehicle facing the building. Both driver sides of the vehicles were on the same side. Patel had parked next to me in the morning, since I don’t have a take home vehicle and he does.
Retana advised that earlier that night as he was traveling westbound in the outside lane of the 2100 block of West Wadley an SUV (TXLP-BXH2519) exiting the private drive located near Sedonas Grill hit the Right Front Quarter of his silver Chevrolet Cruise(TXLP-703684G). Retana then advised that the vehicle tried to leave the scene and that he then followed him. Retana was unable to produce an accurate direction of travel. Retana advised Officer Jimenez that as he was following the vehicle in an attempt to get the driver to stop, the driver of the vehicle then intentionally and knowingly swerved his vehicle towards his. As a result Retana stated that his vehicle was hit for a second time.
I was a careful driver with my parents in the passenger seat. I followed the speed limit and obeyed all traffic laws. On
I was just passing Cobblestone Dr. in our subdivision. Our speed was declining fast with the traffic light ahead at the corner on Pinehurst Dr. and Spring Hill Dr. and the tons of cars in front of me. The road is divided with a grass-filled median, two lanes on each side. I was driving on the right but in the left lane of the two. I see

On the above date and time I was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Washington Street.
You had twenty minutes to be there, and there was little traffic, so you revved it all the way up to 80 on the open road and the rest of the guys followed suit. A combination of sleep deprivation and the glare from the sun (even with your visor down) was likely responsible for your misjudging that hard right turn, or so you said as you told the story later.
of a vehicle that was parked in the middle of a traffic lane of the parking lot.
The worst part of it, is that we live on a commercial street so it can get pretty busy, luckily there were no cars passing or stopped at the light. I pressed on the brake quickly and of course I got yelled at and I got blamed, but I told my mom it was her fault for telling me the car was in drive and I also blamed the car for being old. Typical me. Of course, everyone on the porch was laughing at me and my nephews and niece came outside also and were just there looking at what was going on. After that, I put the car in drive, this time it actually was in drive so I did one thing

The school that I visited was new. It was the first year of the school opening. The school board had combined two schools into one, so the students had to adjust to their new environments and new individuals. They seemed to be getting along well with each other. Since the school is new the teacher has to adjust to new problems that araise. Times for the subjects and times for using the computer labs change. So the teacher must always be fixable for anything. In this observation of this classroom I learned about the enjoyment of teaching. How you have to adapt to each of the students.
The students that I observed in the classroom were of middle to high school. I went to see 8th, freshman, 10th , and seniors classes, they seemed excited and very curious to why I was there. The middle school was more alive and rambunctious while I observed them. The High school kids were more relaxed, more comical. Some were paying attention while others seemed tuned out to the lecture or involved in socialization with friends within the class. By the end of the class Mr. Hasgil had restored the attention of everyone by using tactics such as history jeopardy with candy as the prize with the high school kids. In both he middle school and high school the kids were mostly Caucasian with a mixture of black, Asian , and Hispanic in the classes.
