Regis, a life-long practicing Catholic at Queen of the World Church, to all the weak in faith in the one true God, may we all find happiness in Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. Difficulties frequently arise in the faithless that include a lack of knowledge in who they can always trust, who will always love them, and who will provide them peace. Without faith, you will certainly find trouble finding hope, love, and peace when you need it most. If your faith, one of your greatest characteristics along with love and hope, is weak, then you will not reach the paradise of God, so I earnestly hope you look to Jesus Christ so you do find God on your path of life. May God's love be with us always. I show thanks to God for everything, while keeping …show more content…
God always has a plan that we can follow, but it is up to us to open ourselves to what God has in store for us. We need to work extremely hard to understand God's message. It will not always be the easiest, but when we do find the message, it will create the greatest joy that any individual could experience in this lifetime. As we grow, we need to be sure we grow with Christ. When I was a child, just beginning to learn about Christ, I did not have the strongest faith. But as I grew, I learned much about the miracles of Jesus and the promises that He made with us. Through His teachings, my faith was strengthened. I know your faith can be strengthened as well. All you have to do is look to God for guidance. He is all knowing. He will give you hope. He will give you love. He will give you strength. We just need to find …show more content…
Nothing can be done without faith. God knows this. He gave us the gift of faith for a reason. We should take this gift and use it to its fullest potential. To be free of sin, we first need to find God. God should be the pinnacle of our lives. We need Him. Our love for Him should be greater than any other love. We need not be misled by the things of the material world. Our mind should be directed towards God and the gifts he has in store for us in Heaven. If we focus our thoughts on worldly objects, we will go nowhere in our faith. Following the true way of God will lead to our salvation, not the interests of material objects that so often take our minds off course. Faith gives us confidence. It gives us confidence in what we can do, what we believe, and how we can understand. It gives us drive to go out and do great deeds. We need faith. It is not something to be taken lightly. Faith connects us to the sturdy rock. Without the rock, we have no assurance. The assurance that God will provide you will make you understand why faith is so incredibly important. God's love and presence can make you stronger and give you the courage to continue on the journey of
The other answer to the question is that faith is doubt. This basis relies on the fact that since there is so little proof, one must doubt therefore one must have faith.
Faith is an important aspect in everybody. It helps us see God, and believe in him. Our faith is always tested when there is a hard theological decision to make or somebody else trying to break your bold with God. The movie Field of Dreams, is a great example of how staying true to your faith can sometimes be hard.
Whenever I learned to trust and turn to God, I found His comfort to satisfy my soul. Almost two years ago, one of my best friends became extremely ill and had to leave home and go to a treatment clinic. (For her privacy, I will not say the illness). She had to immediately leave for she was due to die in two weeks if she did not find help. Whenever she told me the news, my whole world flipped upside down. My life had been pretty okay before this, just a few ups and downs. This was the first major trial in my life and I was not prepared. Of course, I prayed for her but I did not grasp the fact that God was going to save her. I was extremely emotionally unstable and I tried to fix myself on my own. This never worked, I may have had temporarily relief but the fear came back. One day I finally gave up trying to fix myself and turned to God. I asked Him to forgive me for not turning to Him first and I allowed him to fix me. I placed my trust in him and ran to him for comfort. Even when it was difficult, I knew I had to trust in Him. Once I placed my faith in Him, my comfort came. I had faith that He would heal her and she will not

"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
In today's society our belief in god is often challenged and left to the strength of our faith, because of this many people experience a loss of faith. Faith is often challenged in situations such as Tragic events, Apathy and doubt, and the influence of relationships. These situations also affect certain age groups as children experience tragedy, teens and adults experience apathy, and young adults experience intellectual doubt.
Christianity is a diverse religion with a multitude of beliefs that comprise the core of the religion. There are an abundant number of sects within Christianity however there are a few core principles which are generally true for all of them, for example the belief of the Holy Trinity or better known as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is what would be considered a primary belief. A primary belief is an idea that is a generally universal idea that is accepted by all the different sects of Christianity and must influence the secondary beliefs in the religion. For example the Holy Trinity is accepted by Roman Catholics, Protestants, Baptist, and etc. However what separates the different sects in the religion apart from one another are their secondary beliefs. A secondary belief is a belief that is accepted by many of the sects however the belief maybe slightly altered. Also another characteristic that must be true is that in order for it to be considered a secondary belief it must have a correlation to the primary belief. An example of this is the sacraments because the sacraments are believed in throughout Christianity but the number of sacraments in each denomination varies. The sacraments do play a specific role in the religion when dealing with the Trinity particularly concerning with the Eucharist. Because of these two credenda’s it is evident to see what an instrumental role these beliefs have in defining Christianity.
I feel that Faith and reason are correlated in many aspects, and are vital to one another. Reason precedes faith in the process of knowing God’s existence and reigning power; although one cannot truly know the reasoning of something to be known without knowledge first. Faith is built on spirituality surrounding one’s cultural beliefs, behaviors, and ...
The Bible is full of instructions as to how God wants his people to live. It speaks of our relationship with God himself, the place of prayer and his word in our lives, and how to grow in that relationship. It talks about relationships in the home, relationships with other believers, how we should treat our enemies, our attitude to our authoritative figure and employees, what we should do with the gifts God has given us, the virtues we should seek to develop in our characters, our attitude to material possessions, and how we should regard this life in relationship to the next. We don't require any special guidance to find out God's will about these things. All we need to do is read the Bible regularly and prayerfully and seek to obey the things that God teaches us from it. Much of God's will has already been made plain. God gives us the Holy Spirit for the very purpose of enabling us to obey.
My understanding of God’s plan for salvation is pretty simple. Just follow God and his teachings and you will go to heaven. Heaven is a mystery, but we know that when we go there we will have eternal life and be with God, but if you don't follow god's teachings or believe in him you will go to hell. But if you do sin you can always be forgiven at confession if you are actually sorry.
I have come to understand many things about myself and the reasons why my faith have developed the way it has. There are many people, places
everything we have, we dedicate it to Him, and we live our lives in service to Him.
The hindrances of receiving this grace come from with in a person. Imperfect consecration and imperfect faith are two of the big problems.2 There are also people who expect less of sanctification or who expect more of it. Holiness must be sought with total surrender to God and simple faith in Him.
