Fidget spinners are the new big thing in the toy industry. Some people claim they are good and help kids with ADHD, but others claim that Fidget Spinners are dangerous and distracting. There are many opinions going both ways, but overall children should not use fidget spinners because they are distracting, dangerous, and not used for what they are meant for. The first reason fidget spinners should not be used by children is that they are distracting. The first way they are distracting is they make noise and if someone is using one in a classroom that noise could keep other students from concentrating on their work. The last way they are distracting is if a student drops a fidget spinner while playing with one, the pieces on the spinner will go everywhere and cause a big disruption if this were to happen in a classroom. The Second reason that children shouldn’t use fidget spinners is that they are dangerous.
One way they are dangerous is the weights on the spinners can pop out and that creates a choking hazard for children. Another way they are dangerous is that the fidget spinners that light up and have batteries can set on fire while they are charging. The last way they are dangerous is if fidget spinner is spinning and it gets too close to the mouth of a child it could break their teeth and harm their mouth in other ways too. The last reason fidget spinners shouldn’t be used by children is that the spinners are being misused. A way fidget spinners are being misused is children will use them as toys even though they are meant to help one focus. The next way the spinners are being misused is that people will buy and use them for tricks instead of their intended purpose. Lastly, the spinners are being sold as toys instead of being sold as help for kids with ADHD or other problems that a fidget spinner might help. Though, some people might argue that fidget spinners help kids focus and that they help kids with ADHD, but there is no real proof fidget spinners help these kids. Furthermore, companies may claim that fidget spinners help kids, but there is no statistics behind this. First , vending machines should be allowed is because they could keep students focused . Sometimes kids get dizzy and don’t stay focused . So we need vending machines to prevent kids from getting ill . Also it would provide a greater selection of food options . So if the vending machines are here it would make students happy .

The Transformer cartoon may help the child figure out the actions of the toy. The additional environmental cartoon stimulus may foster enhance development temporarily. Paiget’s cognitive-developmental theory may be useful in the child’s adaptation of how he or she plays. The child may also be able to maneuver the toy but not be able to understand the concept or story of the Transformer. The child is able to understand the symbols that label what toys are and may also be able to better process parent’s teachings with symbolic knowledge.
I'm against fidget spinners for lots of reasons there distracting and don't even help you. Most people say its educational thing but i disagree you more like a toys too me. I'm gonna have three main ideas why we shouldn't have fidget spinners or fidget things. I hope you change your mind.
When kids are getting their necessary period of interrupted play it has great benefits in the classroom helping their cognitive skills to grow. As children get to play at regular intervals through out the day, they children are able to diminish stress and other types of distractions so when they sit down they are more attentive and productive.
Like children of all other ages, preschoolers too love to keep of playing computer games and watching TV shows. Even though this can retain the attention for a long time, teachers should not allow preschoolers to spend more time on this, as it will harm both his/her mental and physical growth. The most important thing which a preschool teacher should remember is that, she/he should select only those activities which his/her preschoolers are interested in.

Fidget Spinners are the new popular kids toy in homes across the nation. All of the kids want fidget spinners. Everyone is having fun spinning these for hours doing tricks and more. Unfortunately, fidget spinners can be terrible too. The toy was originally intended to help kids especially those with attention disorders focus, but it seems to do the opposite. They are disrupting class, and are injuring hundreds of other kids. Kids should not use fidget spinners because they are dangerous, distracting and they are being misused.
In “Hooked on ‘Caramel-Colored Gold,” Melody Nelson claims “Despite the increased awareness of the benefits of good nutrition, we are a nation hooked on junk food, and many school administrators are taking advantage of the situation ” (par. 3). Nelson propose a ban on vending machines in schools because junk food is unhealthy for children, and they risk future health problems. I agree with Melody Nelson and believe that vending machines should be banned from school campuses, because they sell unhealthy food, they cause more money to schools for hiring extra custodians, and they are affecting children learning abilities.

Fidget spinners are a good idea for kids to use at school. I do get why kids should not have spinners, they get distracted but if anything they help people focus more. Fidget spinners help with anger issues and even anxiety. Schools should allow students to have them cause they are quiet and they don't stop others from learning.

Parents don’t realize that their child’s play is indeed their work; it’s just different than what people see happening in a typical classroom setting. Playing helps children grow and develop socially, physically, emotionally, and mentally; it wouldn’t hurt for older children and adults to play once in a while as well. Docia Zavitkovsky, a lifelong advocate of play, says “Discovering and questioning the world…gives children the tools to become creative, knowledgeable, integrated human beings ().” When a child plays with blocks, he isn’t just playing; he is learning how to use his imagination by building a house with an attached garage. The child is learning how different shapes go together and about the color of each shape. The child will even go through the process of destroying what he has created so he can start working again; every child you meet will enjoy that process.
