How would you feel spending your childhood in a factory making clothes for other kids and only making around .50 cents per hour? If you are thinking terrible than think about this, kids around the world are making the clothes you wear from your favorite hat to the shoes you love. May not look like but it happens, does. So life isn’t always a gift for kids, some have to quit school to work in a factory and some get to play with toys and go to schools. Child Labor happens around the world it happens around you too. Many kids have to work for their families and they are only getting paid around 3 dollars a month. Also, many kids aren’t getting a good education so they might have the same job when the grow up. Also some kids only get one break and it is for lunch. Many places they don’t let them leave the tobacco field or factory. What can we do about this? What can be done about child labor? Well, we could write to the factories or the tobacco fields and tell them to stop child labor. Also We could ask the stores who made their clothes or ask if they know if kids make some of the clothes. Also, we could ask the stores if children are involved with making the clothes and if they say yes then ask them to monitor the factories. Many kids are involved with child labor but many people don’t even see past their clothes. If you take the time to read or care about the children's health or life, kids wouldn't be working in these unsafe factories and tobacco fields. No matter what it is us that could be able to stop child labor, no matter if it is a factory owner or a tobacco farmer, anyone can stop child labor. They just need to try.
