As a Certified Crisis Counselor, I found this text one of the most interesting books I’ve read on the subject matter. Babler’s perspective while not unique is somewhat unorthodox to say the least within the world of crisis counseling. But compared to the previous text I must say I do prefer this one. But that I do understand is purely subjective and because I also happen to love autobiographies I am partial to Chapters 1 and 2 (also subjective) of this text. Chapters 1 and 2 shows readers what it looks like when God has a hedge of protection on your family members and their lives. It’s a wonderful thing. Praise God! We all pray for it and we pray it’s there when it’s needed. Chapters 3 – 5 pointed out to the reader the many crisis
