I believe cell phones are addictive to all in society because most people love their phone more than friends and family, texting and driving is a leading cause in death, and many cell phones addict people are like drug addicts. I believe that phones are causing family and friend problems. In the article “The Phones We Love Too Much” Lesley Alderman states, “so far that it can interfere with human love old fashioned face-to-face intimacy with that living and breathing being you call your partner, spouse, lover, or significant other.” Alderman also states, “ When one partner constantly checks his or her phone it sends an implicit message that they find the phone (or whats on it) more interesting than you.” It is obvious cell phones are causing people to be on their phones instead of interacting with their family and friends.
