I would like to work in my family business. My family has a freight forward business in Bangkok, the business was opened when I was three years old. My father spends time to run the business almost twenty-five years. My vision, I would like to continue running the business, to find more customers and partners in many countries and to expand the family business in my countries and other countries. After I graduate the master degree, I will go back to Thailand to work in my family business. When leaders make decisions, it does not mean they choose right decisions. However, they should admit those mistakes, learn from it and try to select other ways. According to Johnston (2016) “If your employees see you admitting when you are wrong and doing something about it, they will respect your confidence in yourself and be more likely to comply with your next decision. This can be vital to the success of your business and the morale of your staff” (np.). A leader who can adapt on it, he or she can success in his or her position. There are both structural and cultural factors that have influenced the structure of the American family. Specifically, there has been a decrease in family size over the past 50 years. Structural factors are institutions that influence our lives, including family, education, religion, and policies. Cultural factors are beliefs, norms, and traditions, which guide our decisions.
Imagine watching a vigorous baseball or hockey game, you watch your favorite team struggle to make a goal but your least favorite team keeps scoring. As you keep watching, you start to get aggravated and don’t know what is happening to make them not score. As you are watching you realize they are all over the place and not working together as a team. All of a sudden, your favorite team starts to work together and makes a huge comeback. One may ask why they are not scoring as well as the other team? This is just one element which can be greatly affected by teamwork. This paper will establish the group contract of the family group and for fostering group cohesion, and shaping norms within the family group. This paper will discuss specific behaviors to be changed by group members, activities the family can engage in the family group that are fun, and specific ways the family can demonstrate love and belonging to each other.
