Next year, which will be 2017, I will travel to Colombia on July 23 and I will be staying for four days touring the city of Cartagena in Colombia. I chose the month July because according to website audleytravel.com, this month brings in a mini dry season that brings wonderful conditions to the beautiful countryside, beaches, and jungles. I will get to Cartagena by flying with Delta airlines and the cost will be $644. The flight will get off at 7:45 am then land on Atlanta Georgia at 9:00 am. Then I will get on the next flight from Atlanta to Cartagena (9:45 am - 12: 50 pm). San Pedro Hotel is a four star hotel spa as shown on the right. During my time in Cartagena Colombia, I will use the buses as transportation which costs from $55 to $100. The places that I am interested in visiting in Cartagena are Convento La Popa de la Galera, Rosario Islands, and the city of Cartagena itself. Day one, will be touring the La Popa Convent with Tripadvisor costing me $31.00. La Popa Convent (shown below) is a colonial complex that is great for observing religious life and have great views of the city. In the 17th century, the town Hall came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to build a convent or monastery for the church people. Then in the 19th century, it was used as a headquarters and fortress during civil wars. By laws, it was an abandoned site until it was restored in 1964. This history of this site is important because it tells the story about the place and what the circumstances were around it. The reason why I want to visit this location is because when I saw the pictures of the location, I just knew I had to go see
The mission of LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes is a non-profit organization/museum founded to celebrate and cultivate an appreciation for the enduring and evolving influence of Mexican and Mexican-American culture, with a specific focus upon the unique Mexican-American experience in Los Angeles and Southern California. The museum itself is near where Los Angeles was founded in 1871 and includes a 2.2 anchor campus that includes two historic and renovated buildings (Vickrey Brunswig Building and Plaza House). All surrounded by beautiful public gardens. La Plaza is also located near the heart of Los Angeles surrounded by other ethnic sites like Little Tokyo. (However after visiting one can 't help to realize the homeless problem in the Los Angeles area, and realizing some are even Chicano.)

For example, the coastline has great seafood and the south has awesome comfort food. Colombia is divided into 32 departments, or country subdivisions. Each area has unique dishes that reflect their department.

La Virgen is known for being a powerful miracle worker. For example, NASA scientist have offered no explanation on how the image of the Guadalupe imprinted on the cloak has no brush strokes, or sketch marks, or how for the past 478 years it has maintained high quality- preservation without deteriorating (Infallible Catholic). These unique and inexplicable facts about the Guadalupe adds to why she is venerated and worshiped by thousands of Latinos around the world. The basilica also featured many people praying, singing, and doing traditional dances which were all awe inspiring and spiritual to watch. The most important piece of souvenir that I brought from the Basilica would be a red handmade bracelet of la virgen which I cherish and embrace it with me wherever I go.
First, Cancun has gorgeous hotels. The architecture of one representative hotel is fabulous. Walking into the entrance of the hotel is like walking through a breezeway because there are no doors. Upon entering, the visitor is mesmerized by the colossal tropical floral arrangement that’s so stunning and full of vibrant color that her mouth drops in awe. Soon, she realizes, after the initial shock, that she is walking on marble floors that look like mirrors reflecting rays of dancing light. Indoor waterfalls accompanied with lavish foliage engulf her; every sense is stimulated. Happily greeted and escorted to her hotel room, she is delighted to see that the hotel’s beauty continues throughout every part of it. Posh describes the room exactly. The bathroom floors, counters, and the shower walls are polished stone, native to Mexico. Surprised, she looks over the balcony to see the S-shaped pool with a floating bar and the bar’s roof covered in bamboo. Walking through the hotel lobby, through the fresh gardens, through the pathway to the pool are picture-perfect peacocks flaunting their beauty, and, indeed, they are very beautiful. The real religious progress came through the Dominicans, Franciscans, Jesuits, and other missionary groups. They spread their religion among the Colombian forests and grasslands and helped establish the church in Colombia. Though they were looked down on by colonists and government officials, these individuals pushed through, eventually creating the Society of Jesus. This society was known for establishing the city of Cartagena and founding the first collegiate institution during the colonial period.

Walking along the nature trail on the island that is surrounded by beautiful green plants and palm trees I came across stingray cove, a place where you can swim with the stingrays. Enjoying the sights of the stingrays I spot a colossal starfish by a rock in the water. I came across the lagoon that I could have ridden jet skis in or kayaked, but couldn’t get to close due to the plants and rocks. Making my way back towards the beach I watch as people ride horses in the water. Starting to smell something great I realized that it was time for a bohemian meal. While enjoying a delicious meal, a band was playing some relaxing reggae. Quickly my time at Half Moon Cay came to an end, I was not ready to leave the tropical paradise. I cannot wait to take another cruise just to come back and relax. Half Moon Cay also known as Little San Salvador Island with only 2 percent of the island begin developed, is an international bird sanctuary and natural preserve. With that being said the only way to visit is by cruise ship. Whether just wanting to relax on the beautiful beach, explore the island, or do excursions like snorkeling Half Moon Cay, Bahamas is a place I look forward to visiting
One of my greatest hobbies is travelling the globe and I love to see new places. I enjoy experiencing new environment and culture. There are many countries to visit around the world and each country has something unique to offer. In every country, there are many beautiful places to see and tradition to learn. However, the country I have always wanted to visit is Italy. Italy is located in Europe and it is famous for its ancient history, architectural heritage, culture and even food. It is my dream to visit Italy with my family one day.
