Recommended: Law enforcement career paths

Being into this project I knew a lot about being a lawyer from a previous experience to legal shows. I know that I will be spend least 30 hours weekly at work. Lawyer represent people in court, they present the evidence to judge during trial. In order to be a lawyer, I know that I would be spending least 6 years in college and law school. A way of becoming a lawyer is to major in criminal justice. Lots of paper work is involved to keep records on file for future refer.
In order to become a lawyer, I have learned that I would have to spend 7 years in college, 4 years in undergraduate and an extra 3 years in law school. Before graduating from undergraduate, I would have to take English, public speaking, and government and economics. I will need …show more content…

They work more than 40 hours weekly. They are either working at court or in their office, preparing for an upcoming case. They gather given information from the client, other documents, and other research. While in court, they are representing a client to prove that they are guilty or to get them less jail time. In order to represent their client, lawyers have present their evidence to the judge. Legal documents and personal records of clients is also presented to the judge by the lawyer. They talk to their client about the case, they also either go to the jail to meet up or they meet up at a place with their client. During trial, the lawyer asks the witness the questions. Because I know that I am change someone’s life for the better. I can argue with someone, until they know that I am right about the situation. I love to meet new people, seeing the same faces everyday gets boring. I know that there is someone out there, who needs a lawyer, every second of day. Not the ones that is appointed by court, people want one that they choose. I need to work on my speaking voice, right now I am quiet and shy, I have time to work on it. I can probably join clubs such as debate or theater to help me speak louder. I know that will be work hard, long hours as a lawyer.
