Government Day Essay I have always been attracted to the idea of being someone important, such as a state’s attorney. I feel that when I am older, that I could be the best I could be. When I think about what it takes, I feel that I have the hard work and the dedication. Also, I feel that I could make a contribution to all of the other people there. Being a state’s attorney takes a lot of hard workers as much as dedicated workers. I have always worked hard at everything I do, so if I had this job, I know that it wouldn’t be any different than it is now. Also, I know that I could be someone who could take on everything that comes my way. I am a person that always wants to help. I feel that I could help people and make contributions if I was
I have assisted people with disabilities in need of assistance with house cleaning, cooking, and running errands. I enjoy what I do and consider it a privilege to be able to help people in the comfort of their homes. Helping my community is one thing that I enjoy, and I am glad I was in the position to help.
Personal Statement Throughout my career, I have acquired an understanding and a passion for the law and the entertainment industry. The excitement of this opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of law through the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, an online certificate program in Entertainment and Law, I am thrilled. Consistently being a part of dynamic, diverse of teams I have gained knowledge from judges to musicians and graduate students. Understanding the process of the law is a continuous learning endeavor.

I always try to be helpful and this shows in my work as a Student Ambassador at college where I help out on open days and with new students.
This is why I have worked at a local homeless shelter for the past two years. I feel like I can do the same thing -- help a person or two merely on the basis of our shared humanity. I enjoy paying back some of the help society has given me. I teach a computer class at the shelter, but everyone gets free therapy on the side. Most of those people aren't different in some essential way from the homed or those who have jobs, but life has often dealt them a losing hand to begin with. I tell them that I also had a losing hand, but I never gave up hope. Often, hope is all I had -- but it was enough to keep me pressing onward.
My major is Paralegal Studies and I expect to graduate with an Associates of Arts degree in December of this year. Many years ago, as an investigator for both a private company and a county agency, I was introduced to the legal field. Recently, I was awarded the opportunity to attend college, so I decided I wanted to reenter the legal profession as a paralegal. The paralegal profession appeals to me, because I enjoy the processes of developing a case, as well as its legal aspects. A paralegal is involved in a case from the beginning to the end; from the initial client interview to assisting the attorney during the client’s trial or the settlement process. My goal is to become a paralegal for a solo practitioner or a small firm in my local area who represent clients in different areas of the law.
I have always seen myself as an individual who always puts the needs of others before my own. Ever since I was a young girl I wanted to help other
Loving to argue, speak, and to persuade/convince, I have chosen to research the career of a lawyer. I have always been intrigued by the audacity and wit that lawyers have naturally. I will explain the steps in order to be on the right path in order to become a lawyer.
I have a growing interest in law and the subjects surrounding it. As a child, I was captivated by how much law applies to every aspect of our daily life. Whether it was following rules in school or even at home, there was always an element of law involved. The changing nature of law has increased my interest as there is always something new up for debate. Growing up in a family where many members have followed a career in law, has further inspired me to follow the same path.
Something I always wanted to be when I got older was a police officer. I want to be a police officer because my mother is a police officer for the city of Paterson and she inspires me to be what I want to be. I also choose to be a police officer because they make good money and and money is what I will need to be good in life. Next, being a police officer will teach me how to be brave and face my fears of of killing be people and being next to someone that is violent. Finally, me being a cop will also teach me how to follow the rules and obey the laws which is what I have trouble with now.
I want to become a lawyer because I’ve always been interested in the occupation and I want to help people. To be more specific I want to be a prosecutor. I used to watch shows such as Criminal Minds and Law and Order and I also watched the news. While watching the news, I began to think that not all criminals are getting caught, and they are starting to do more and more things to damage the world. I can’t stand thinking that people are doing horrible things and thinking its okay. I want to be able to put those people in prison where they belong.
I will help anyone, even if society says not to, because they deserve justice, friends, and someone to help them show everyone else that the societal food chain doesn’t matter, and that we are all equal. Just like what Jackie Robinson did many years ago, when he proved that Blacks were equal to Whites, when he proved that he could play as well as any white person could, if not better. I will reach my goal and have success at being a

I love to help people, whether it be in public, or just around the house. My current school has may clubs, and I like to be as involved as I can. I joined the News Team, Safety Patrol, and Chorus. I donate money to every single fundraiser - my own, and sometimes relatives if they want - along with keeping people safe. People often ask for my help - teachers, fellow students, family, etc. - even though I can be strict.
