Canada is a developed country entering the mid-fourth stage in the demographic transition model, perceiving that Canada is well equipped with necessity and other necessary amendments. But could one natural disaster fracture the well-being of Canada? To begin, I would like to remind you of the flash flood that had occurred on July 8 of 2013, in many streets of Toronto, owing more than 850 Million in insurance claims. This natural disaster had come as a surprise to the residents of Toronto, and some state that it is a relatively rare occurrence for such a disaster to occur. Another method used to aid in the notification of a flash flood, works by accurately predicting fluctuating weather and successfully preparing the city to undertake precautions and other preparatory exercises, in hopes of minimizing potential damage.
