Bullying is a big issue and it puts many students of all ages no matter if you are in high school, middle school or elementary school in danger. The issue of bullying really energizes me and makes me want to speak out against it because I was bullied in middle school and my friends used to get bullied too and I did not like it at all. The issue of bullying is constantly growing and I believe it should be solved before it gets even worse. There are many organizations that help people that are being bullied but there is only so much one group can do, we need to enforce this so that kids do not get hurt when all they are doing is going to school to learn, a very popular bullying organization is “Stomp Out Bullying”.
Statistics say that almost 77% of bullying in schools are verbal bullying. Students who are bullied are more likely to suffer from serious problems in the future, bullying can affect a student’s performance in school, and it can make the student become more depressed. 80% of the time an argument with a bully will break out in a physical fight. The gender that is most affected by bullying is female students, this type of gender based bullying could also be referred to sexual harassment. People get bullied for various reasons including, their look, how they talk, their background,or even for just being different from everyone …show more content…

The issue of bullying is serious and it puts children's lives in danger when all the kids are doing is going to school and trying to get a better education for themselves. If a student gets bullied it can have a big impact on their life and that impact could be bad, they might turn to violence, drugs, or even commit suicide. The child that is getting bullied might also suffer from low self-esteem, anxiety, depression or suicidal
