Brief Summary Of The Movie Cinque

Cineque was an African guy who was a taken away from his family by his own kind and was sold to Cuba and brought into slavery illegally. Cinque was unaware what was happening. When he was on the boat to going into slavery he fought the people that were breaking him into that world. They killed the people on the boat until the United States government took them into custody. Then many people started claiming them and then this one group claimed them as England and this other group said he was a free person because he was captured and brought into slavery.

Cinique's role is African guy who is trying to communicate with Americans that are trying to help him but cinque didn't understand what they were saying or doing. They found a translator that really couldn't communicate with them. But, then they found a guy who can really communicate with them and Cinque told him what had happened and also told him about the slave fortress. He was quiet at first then he stood his ground. In this movie cinque is very accurate and Hollywood got his spot correct.

In my opinion he was one of the bravest of all because he risked his life by helping Cinique's people out by telling the people in the court that they were not slaves. He is also the smartest one too because he found a translator and he started slowly talking to cinque and his people to try to get evidence that they were taken into slavery not o born into slavery. But, his main role was to make people believe that the Africans were not slaves. He also helped out many other slaves besides Cineque's people because he helped the army find the slave fortress at the end of the
