Politics according to me or rather I would under my dictionary is a very abstract term and has various nuances. When I say “various nuances” what I mean is politics as such is literally played out in every nook and corner of this world, for instance take the example of a normal household where the existing members are the mother-in-law, father-in-law, son and his wife. Now in such a household we cannot expect that everything is hunky and dory between the members, there will be this internal conflict of whose say should have a certain amount of weightage and who should have the final say. Blood and racial purity essentially means maintaining a racial hierarchy and allowing only a group of people to procreate and what racial purity ensures is the superiority of one race and the growth of only that group of people who belong to the certain race. Now, if you take the example of racial purity in the African diaspora many instances might hit your head but the hard hitting one is that of the Rwandan genocide. What happened in the Rwandan genocide was that a government whose majority consisted of group called the Hutus went on a rampage, killing another section of people called the Tutsis. We can clearly see that even killing people of your own group or your own tribe does come under the ambit of playing the ‘game’ of blood and racial purity. Throughout the 20th century we can see instances of people trying to ‘purify’ their country or exterminate a group of people because they do not belong to your creed.
