Many people stand for the “Black Lives Matter” protest because people agree that many people are discussing many ways which Black people could be deprived of normal/regular human rights. Doesn’t matter if it’s about poverty, feminism, gay rights or any type equality. Racism mainly against black people has been the number one long lasting global issue to date. It’s good that Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi started this campaign. This campaign began on a social media platform after the acquittal murder of George Zimmerman. Even though racism is always and is still a problem, these people have still made a change through social media, protests, and through the news. Black people are still always discriminated by what they wear, how they look like, and their skin color. But when certain people think about this, they say this, “Obama, Lebron, and Drake are all black, why don’t we have a problem with them.”Yes, certain people aren’t the best, but that doesn’t mean you go against their whole culture, religion, etc. Plus, the first ever humans on Earth were black people, so we are going against our own existence …show more content…

Yes, all lives do matter but I think that protesters in the White Lives Matters campaign thought that Black Lives Matters protester was actually saying ONLY their lives matters. But the message is “Black lives matter as much as other lives do.” Also, I am guessing that the creator of White Lives Matters didn't really think about what they are protesting. Black people suffer way more than White people do. Even decades ago and today they're treated almost the same which is unacceptable considering the world has developed so much. Plus, white people did things more horrible than black people ever did. A group that will kill any other race except for white (KKK) and a group that killed more than 8 million Jewish citizens
