Sir Michael Caine is one of the most renowned actors and authors of all time; from his young life of a starving artist to now starring in over 115 films and being honored on more than one occasion for several prestigious awards. He has become one of the most popular and influential English figures of all time.
Born Maurice Micklewhite in London, England on March 14, 1933, into an average household whose father was a fish porter and mother a cleaner, Sir Michael Caine began his journey to stardom. From an early age, Caine was always interested in show business. At the age of only 16 he left school to pursue the closest job to show business he could get, an office boy at Peak Films. In 1951 Caine joined the Queens Royal Regiment and the Royal Fusiliers to serve in Germany and Korea. Having two years gone by and now being out of the service, Michael went to work at Westminster Repertory in Horsham Sussex and then at the Lowestoft Repertory where he fell in love with his first wife, Patricia Haines. After marriage, Michael and his new found wife moved to London to pursue their acting careers. This took a toll on Michael because he had to subject himself to many degrading jobs to make ends meet. On top of all of the stress of not having enough money Patricia became pregnant and gave birth to their fist daughter Dominique. After only a couple years of marriage things were not working out so well with the two of them so Patricia took her daughter and moved back in with her parents. Michael felt responsible and hopeless and ended up holding all of the guilt for what had happened. Unemployed and broke, Michael moved back in with his parents. His father was bedridden with rheumatism of the...

One of his most famous quotes is "I'm older now; I don't get the girl, I get the role, which is much better." -Michael Caine. He may be older but he's still got it.
Samuel L Jackson has then came to appear in many great movies such as Jurassic Park, Pulp Fiction, A Time To Kill, One Eight Seven, Shaft, Coach Carter, Star Wars and many others. He has also been nominated for many of these and has received many awards for a lot of these films. He is still acting and does not seem to be thinking of retirement any time soon. He truly is a great example of a great actor who rose to fame in the time of blaxploitation and also an inspiration to all those with addiction problems as someone who was able to overcome his problem and make something of himself.
He returned back to the United States and he had more cameras on him then a movie star. He was on top of the world then tragedy struck. He was at home one night with his wife...
But in the lesser role of the prince's evil half brother, Keanu Reeves didn?t appear to be all that special, at times he did look evil but I have never been a big fan of Keanu?s acting. He always sounds like a baboon when he opens his mouth. Maybe I am just remembering too much of Bill and Ted?s Excellent adventure?
The Duke takes his place in history. John Wayne, one of America’s greatest actors and directors of all time. His fame and superstardom led to many problems in his career. His image as an icon of American individualism and the frontier spirit has overshadowed his career to such an extent that it is almost impossible for the fans and writers to separate Wayne the legend from Wayne the actor and Wayne the man.
--clockwork orange... at times I wish I had those eye-lid clamps for some of my classes, that and bottle of visine, too. it's a nicely designed page, with lots of information on his films. I forgot he was the one who directed dr. strangelove, a personal classic of mine.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana (Sullivan 1005). His parents were Joseph Jackson and Katherine Scruse (Sullivan 1005). Michael was one of nine children. Michael and his siblings were not allowed to call their father “daddy” they were to call him Joseph (Collins 8). Michael was married and divorced twice in his lifetime. “His first marriage was to Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley, in 1994” (Collins 22). They were married for two years, and had no children. Lisa filed for divorce in 1996 (Sullivan 1014). That same year Michael married Debbie Rowe. Five months after Lisa divorced Michael, Debbie became pregnant with his first child, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. It could be concluded that Michael married Debbie because she was carrying his child. Michael and Debbie wed on November 14, 1996 after one of his concerts. On April 3, 1998 Debbie gave birth to their second child, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. Their marriage ended in 1999. “In 2002, an unidentified surrogate mother gave birth to Michael’s third child, Prince Michael Jackson II” (Collins 23). Prince Michael Jackson is also known as Blanket (Sullivan 1016).

his movies to the envy of men. Humor is used in all of James Bonds
Generally, when someone is said to be the “best” at something, it is an arbitrary title given to someone by another person based purely of of their own narrow viewpoint. This it true when talking about the best actor, however, there may be a way to determine the best actor on a variety of criteria. Though some may think otherwise, Danny DeVito is a phenomenal actor, who may be considered one of the best in the industry, from his range as an actor, to the sheer number of awards he has won or been nominated for, or even his projects outside of film, he seems to have it all compared to all other actors.

Third wave belongs to Pierce Brosnan and lastly the fourth and the recent wave belongs to Daniel Craig. I have not included Timothy Dalton’s contribution as James Bond since he can only be credited for two Bond movies which were not even as famous as the above four Bonds’. George Lazenby’s movie stands alone as an exception and his movie is discussed in detail.
Marlon Brando was a kid who thought there was no hope but turned into the best actor of his time. He was very handsome, famous, and rich. These things did not bring happiness in his life. Brando died a bitter lonely old man.
There is a central notion that there seems to be a mysterious curse surrounding child stars. These young celebrities are often described as having ‘too much too young’ or being ‘scarred for life’ by success (WLVDialogue, 2009). According to Dr. Jane O’Connor (2009), an expert in child stars at the University of Wolverhampton’s School of Education, child stars lack the routine that most children usually benefit from. They often struggle to have a childhood due to the high demands of the show business lifestyle. This strengthens the idea that childhood is a private space for the development of a person’s identity and personality. Childhood is a special time that comes only once and if you miss it, there can be problematic repercussions manifested in the adult identity. Children put together from what they see and hear eve...
