Bill Gates was a very intelligent man since he was young; one of his teacher said, “Gates was always a math whiz” ("Bill Gates “1955 - )"). Gates is very important in the computer world. He is the inventor of the entire Microsoft systems. Gates is also the creator of all of the Windows programs that are on computers. Bill Gates was born into a wealthy family and became one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time as he created Microsoft.
Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955. He was born into a very wealthy family and from the beginning; Gates’s family was always interested in business and politics. Gates’s great grandfather was even the mayor at one time. His grandfather, William Gates II, was the vice president of the National Bank. His father was a defensive lawyer and his mother was a school teacher. When Gates was a younger kid, he always enjoyed riding bike and hanging out with friends. Gates even had a paper route so he was able to make money while he was young (Gates). Gates was always a very smart kid but he was also a big trouble maker, which made his parents worried about his schooling. So, his father wanted him to go to the Lakeside private school and to this, Gates said, "I seriously considered flunking the entrance exam," (Gates Biography). The exam was required in order to get into the Lakeside Private school. After Gates had passed the exam everything in his life started to turn around; he was able to keep good grades and started being a very good student in school. 2014 Gates stepped down as the CEO of Microsoft. Gates is still the Richest Person in the world with a Net worth of 67 Billion Dollars. Carlos Slim of Mexico was the leading richest person in the world for many years.

Gates had never imagined that the thirteen year old boy who loved to program computers in his parent’s garage would one day find himself to be considered the world’s wealthiest man alive, having a total net worth of $76 billion. Throughout the history of the world there have been revolutions, martyrs, and innovations that have changed the course of mankind. As history has proven, one person can have an effect on many, one action can excite anything, and one invention can change the whole world. In the case of the developing world of technology, many tried, but only a few could get a stake in the fast moving industry and throughout it all one name has stamped their name on the PC business, Microsoft.
Bill Gates is a genius. He is the founder of Windows and is one of the richest people in the world. He created some of the first computer operating systems and is a pioneer of the technological world. He has created a computing empire and is still working to improve the world. He not only is rich but he also donates a lot to charity.
Bill Gates went from an upper middle-class family to the one of the richest men in the world; who owns the largest software company, Microsoft. Neither Bill, nor Microsoft have reached their peak, but many events helped to lead them to where they are today. In the beginning, Bill Gates, a skinny, shy awkward boy born on October 28, 1955 to Mary and William Gates. As a teenager, Bill seemed an unlikely successor to his overachieving parents. His father, an attorney and his mother a teacher, University of Washington regent, and chairwoman of the United Way placed him in Lakeside. This is a very elite private school. It was there, that Bill was first introduced to computers. The following year, he wrote his first computer program, then a scheduling program for the school - which coincidentally placed him and his best friend, Paul Allen, in the same classes as the prettiest girls in the school.

In order to fully understand his significance and influence in the world, one must be knowledgeable of his background, the critics view of his most famous achievement, and must have a discussion about his impact and importance in the modern world.
He was born with a long family history of business, politics and community services. His grand father was the vice president of a national bank, and his father was a prominent lawyer. Early in life it was obvious that Bill Gates inherited the ambition, intelligence and competitive spirits that helped the rest of his family rise to the top in their chosen professions. In elementary school he quickly surpassed all of his peer's abilities in nearly all subjects, especially in math and science. His parents recognized his intelligence and decided to enroll him in Lakeside, a private school known for its intense academic environment.
When most people hear about Bill Gates the first thing that comes to mind is the obscene amount of money he has made through out his career. Owning many different foundations, the most common foundation known to most college students is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that provide many different scholarships. However, this foundation also does various things to give back to communities and aiding suffering countries. Within this foundation there are also various branches such as the United States Program, The Global Development Program and the Global health program that have grown over time making the Gates a commonly used household name.
Becoming the richest man in the world, Bill Gates is one of the most influential men. Not only is Bill Gates one of the most influential figures in the world, but he is also one of the most influential figures in the business world. Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955, in Seattle, Washington. Gates was born into already well established family. “His father, William Henry Gates Jr., was a successful lawyer, and his mother, Mary Maxwell, was chairwoman of United Way International.”(Stevenson).
Bill Gates Through his intelligence and excellent business skills, Bill Gates was able to change the world. As a technological genius, he founded the world's largest software company. He has also been extremely generous, donating more than $30 billion as a philanthropist. He is, without a doubt, a catalyst for change, tirelessly working to make the world a better place.
Microsoft is a computing software company. Microsoft was made and founded on April 4th 1975 by two young men who were captivated by computers. Their names were Bill Gates and Paul Allen. The homebase was in Redmond, Washington. Microsoft became one of the most famous and successful companies in the world. “Microsoft was one of the pioneers responsible for bringing the personal computer into the lives of millions of people.” (Musolf). The company has had such a great impact that now the name “Microsoft” is now virtually synonymous with computer software.
Bill Gates is now helping people in developing countries get water and an education full time. He created what is called the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. “In 2008 he left the company to devote himself full-time to his charity the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation”(Harris 1). He has worked his whole life to get the success and money that he has today and instead of keeping it to himself he has given it back to society in many generous ways. He also is helping developing countries with their needs that aren't accessible to them.
While Bill Gates was at junior high a group of parents raise money to purchase the first computerized terminal in the school. When that happened he decided to take all his time to work on that system teaming with other students to learn about different operating systems.
