The concept of mankind being both good and evil, or that “man is not truly one, but truly two,” applies to many things and can be observed to be true in multiple modern examples. Bill Cosby is an actor and comedian who has spread laughter and entertainment among many people for years. Through the years 1984 to 1989, the sitcom that Bill produced and starred in, “The Cosby Show”, was ranked as the top show in America. In addition to doing good by providing entertainment, he has also negatively affected many as well. Bill has been accused by over sixty women of terrible things such as rape, drug facilitated sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and sexual misconduct. Hernandez was still in the early stages of his career when he was convicted. In just three short seasons as a tight-end for the New England Patriots, Aaron tallied an impressive 1,956 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns. (NFL.com) Aaron also played alongside Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and a great organization such as the New England Patriots. This would lead many to believe that even greater things would have come from his career had he continued to play. As a young and upcoming player in the NFL, Hernandez served as a role model to many young athletes and inspired them to make a career out of their passion as he did. By his performance on the field it would have been unknown that Aaron would have done something such as taking the life of another human being. Bill Cosby, Roman Polanski, and Aaron Hernandez all demonstrate how all people have good and evil sides.
