Most people who are unfamiliar with it assume it is all about wearing suits, Wall Street, partying, and stacks of money. Yet, those same people do not comprehend what work it takes to get there. Thus contributing to my academic awareness and commitment to the class with the fear of unknowing what each class might encompass. To understand the difficulties of writing I need to be able to face them hear on, with the wiliness to learn from them. With the effort and proper practice of the skills learned from “The Business Writer’s Companion”. This class also requires considerable amount of researching which at first was not an expectation since it is not required by other classes at St. John’s University. That is mostly why this class is beneficial to my classmates and me, taking us out of our writing comfort zones. Making us not only sharpen our writing skills but develop a writing vocabulary.
