Health benefits of sex For years most of us thought that main motive of sex is to give birth to a child. Sex drive makes people to do crazy things. Sex is forbidden from public talk. Sex should happen between men & women in right time and right place. Sex thoughts should be hidden in your mind; not to reveal it. These are certain things taught to us by our society. To our surprise, Sex is not evil that our society taught us. With the help of sex earth is running energetically. If not there is no way evolution can happen and Earth would be a dead planet by now with no lifeform. Sex not only helps our planet in evolution; also helps us by maintaining good physical and mental health. We all know sex means having pleasure but benefits of sex is far more than that. The Symbolic-Interaction Theory explains how everyone in a society views sexual behavior differently than others. Some cultures are more relaxed than others about sexuality and time also plays a factor in a societies viewpoint. Over a century ago, it was not acceptable to marry a woman who was not considered a virgin, but this did not always apply to males. This slowly changed due to birth control which changed how people viewed sex. Society is more tolerant of sexual activity, but some still consider sex before marriage
Most people are deluded, believing that casual sex is emotionally safe when it is not. These views claim that there is no commitment to the partner, therefore lacking intimacy. Details of personality, family, an individual’s life and how an individual reacts to a situation are not communicated. It would seem to be difficult to become emotionally involved, which could easily cause the person to be vulnerable to stress and heartache. After all, with no emotional ties the individual can’t be emotionally hurt. If a problem does arise there are no commitments so the partner can easily be abandoned. However, this is not true. Sex always equals emotional bindings and even so called casual sex therefore creates emotional damage. Scientifically, the act of sex stimulates receptive nerves in the
Physical activity is also important for a healthy body, as eating healthy is. Exercising for a minimum time period of 20 minutes a day is very important for you to cut excess fat and reduce the chances of medical conditions like cardiovascular disease. However when it comes to sexual health, an improvement in physical activity helps to maintain the concentration of some very significant hormones like HGH and testosterone in the body.
Sex education in public schools is the first of the four topics I will be discussing. This topic was a no brainer for me to choose, due to the fact that I grew up in the public and private school systems, and am able to connect my personal experiences with the opinions I hold today. Although sex education was not very prominent throughout my educational experience, I believe all students would greatly benefit from the knowledge one can acquire through a diverse sexual education experience. My first experience with sex education came in sixth grade (I’m 22), and unfortunately is the only experience I’ve had, while in the public school system. Although I cannot recall this event in its entirety, I can still remember the minor details.
Looking at our past, there have been dramatic changes in the way humans view sex. Long before the 1900s individuals framed their views based on the religious institution. Due to the fact that they strongly centered their idea of sexual thought on religion, they believed that the only purpose of having sex was to procreate. As the 1920’s approached, there were various factors that changed the way individuals viewed sex. The “new women” known, as flappers were women who were confident in who they were. They changed their attire as well as their social attitude. In the 1920s, the flappers redefined sex; customs and traditions were broken and new norms were created by society.
The controversy of sex has lead to it being thought of as dangerous. In society there is the controversy of people having sex or having any sexual activity they are considered perverted and lecherous. Then there is the other side of the spectrum where someone who does not have sex at all is considered a prude. Both being lecherous or a prude is unacceptable in society. People feel that they must lie whether they have sex or not because of the word of what opinions will formulate against them. The reason people lie about their sexual experiences is so that that are not harshly judged, criticized, or labelled by society. People can be labelled as a slut, whore, prostitute, or a prude, but it does not mean that it is entirely true because some people do not fully understand some of the meanings behind these words and just use it as hurtful slang. Therefore, sex is more secretive than it should be. Either lie or truth a person will say, other people will make a strong, rude
THERE’s much more to sex than the genitals, seeing someone bare or even the most common goal of sex – an orgasm. Sex experts will tell you that sex is intimacy; it is opening yourselves to spiritual mingling, exposing and exploring your sexual desires. But these are sometimes hindered by social constructions of sexual behaviour – the taboos, the myths and misinformation can sometimes make something as natural as sex very complex.
The prevalence of sexology literature and scholarship was and remains to be a topic of discourse when questions to the origins of a ‘homosexual’ identity arise. In today’s society, one usually points to the New York City Stonewall Riots in 1969 as the beginning for the recognition of homosexual love and identity. Indeed, this event remains to be an important marker in queer* history, but there are many scholars in various interdisciplinary fields who would instead argue that emergence of homosexuality as an identity stemmed from medical and psychiatric research carried out by German psychiatrists and doctors.
...ole does it play in religion? Well, it has become apparent to me that sex in fact is much more than physical actions. As was mentioned, yes sometimes sex can be just pure meaningless sex. Even sometimes when people recognize the true meaning behind sex and understand the deepness it represents but chose to ignore it to engage in just physical actions it becomes meaningless sex. However, it is for those times of strong spiritual connection between couples that makes sex important. In some cases sex is just pure sex. In other cases, sex is the basis of religion, the ultimate meaning of love, the binding of two flesh that become one, and the bringing of a couple to a higher level of spirituality in their relationship. Sex is deeper than just physical actions, sex does have an important role in religion, and sex does have a strong and deep effect on spirituality.
The truth is that sex education does not encourage students to do it. Sex education prevents sexual diseases and teenage pregnancy. But how? Students are taught how to use condoms. These kids are in danger of sexually transmitted diseases. There is also a big possibility for them to become pregnant and that is why sex education should be taught to avoid these things from happening. In sex education, students are also taught of abstinence. They are taught that they should only have sexual intercourse after they get married. In case the parents are always away from their children, sex education should be taught to them so that they would learn it from an educated and responsible adult instead of learning it from the media or from their friends There will always be peers who would badly influence others. I remember my bus-mates when I was in High School. They are only ages eight to ten but the words that come out of their mouths are foul sex languages. I was really surprised and our bus driver did not even intend to lecture them. When I was their age, I still did not know anything. The generation today just keeps on getting worse. The media and technology played a big role on this. Students can now access any site on the internet that contains adult content or pornographic materials. That is why sex education should be
It was caused by a variety of reasons such as the weakening of control of adolescent behavior, separation of sexuality from reproduction, and open appearance of different orientation. Furthermore, people ceased to perceive sex as something shameful and immoral. In this regard, there were many problems associated with the ignorance of the majority of people in matters of sexuality; consequently, government decided to impose a duty to explain to pupils basic reproductive processes and precautions on schools. Teaching a class of sex education would have sufficient benefits such as "lower teenage pregnancies, a decline in sexually transmitted diseases, more responsible thinking" (Blanton). First, sex education gives the children general knowledge about the sexual side of life, such as the differences between boys and girls and puberty.
A regular exercise regimen will not only burn more calories, “but it also releases endorphins, which lower cortisol levels and improve your feelings of well-being. In addition, exercise increases testosterone by adding muscle mass, taking your libido to new heights and improving your body image” says Dr. Laura Berman. This is why effects on activities are something to look for and go
Have you ever been so attached to something that It kills you to be without it for more than a day? Well let me tell you about the love of my life, my bed. My bed belonged to my grandmother who has been the most important person in my life. I wanted something that would remind me of her every night before I went to sleep. It may sound weird to people who have their own rooms, their own apartments, their own space, but my bed holds a lot of meaning because it 's an heirloom, it 's a safety zone, and it 's the only place in the whole house that is mine.
Sex education should be increased in schools. Nearly one million women under the age of 20 get pregnant each year. That means 2800 women get pregnant each day. If students are educated about the effects sex has on their lives, it lessens their chance of having children at an early age. Knowledge about sex can also lessen the chance of kids receiving STDS.
