Beneath the ice

Did you know that 8,000 people die a year from falling in below zero water. Well I'm going to tell you guys accident that happened maybe about 4 years ago. Therefore In Lennox Island, it was a nice winter morning with the sun shining, beautiful snow on the tree’s, birds whistling. Then around 7:30 or so, I got up and decided I should get dressed for the day and have a bowl of cereal. Although every morning I was always the first one up, so afterwards I went back to the room and my brother was dressed already watching Youtube. Which was weird because I barely made a noise when I got up, though I should get into what happened in this accident.
During the course of the morning, I and my brother played some games after we had breakfast and decided to go outside because we were kind getting bored of playing Xbox. As we both got dressed and went outside for a bit, I didn't know what to do when I got out there, so as we sat there for about five minutes or so, we both decided to have a snowball fight. After we got bored of that, I decided it was amazing Idea to go poke at the ice, I was not really careful of what we doing as we stepped on the Ice because I came up with the idea to this anyway.
