Many people will be against it; some will support those who are teen moms or teens who are pregnant. Also, quite a few people think all teens parents are on welfare or rely on it.
Not that many people ask about the good or bad questions of being a teen mom. Quite a few people may ask how teen pregnancy can even be good. My son is more important than I will ever be. His life is way more important than mine! Yes, times can and are very tough. But that is when I am most thankful for my parents. I wouldn’t have ever thought I would be in this situation. Never thought I would be a pregnant teen walking across the graduating stage. Never thought I would get accepted into college while being a teen mom. Never thought I would be going to college and working two jobs while being a mother. Everything has been hard, but having the family support I do means everything to me. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them. They have been there through thick and thin. Plus, without them I have no idea where I would be in my life.
Teen pregnancy can push you to do many good things for you and your child. Things like graduating high school, then going to college, then to graduating college. Pregnancy in general can either push you in a good direction for you and your child or some people will go in the completely wrong

Baby fever will most likely end in pregnancy. When those who have baby fever don’t think of all the questions or consequences of this. Many of those people have many other friends who are teen moms and love babies so they want their own child. So, my advice would be, if you have friends who want to be pregnant or have baby fever they need to think about the consequences, questions, and if they could even support the baby. Those are key factors; I believe that most people don’t think about. I never thought of any of those questions till I was pregnant and had to answer

It is important to understand what women commonly experience during pregnancy. With a better understanding of what happens during prenatal development and childbirth, physicians can competently develop the best plan for the mother and baby. I interviewed two women who have been previously pregnant in order to evaluate how the ideas in the book translate into real-life experiences.
According to the March of Dimes, "nearly thirteen percent of all births in the United States were teens ages fifteen to nineteen. Almost one million teenagers become pregnant each year and about 485,000 give birth (Teenage 1).
After a teen gets pregnant they start thinking of a way to hide it from their parents,The big problems start then. Many reasons teens think of are suicide, abortion and many other reasons. Abortions are becoming more frequent due to the ignorance and intolerance of certain societies around the world. This leads to the death of many teenage mothers as well as their children. There a lot of things that can cause an unplanned teen pregnancy, such as teens experimenting with sexual encounters at a young age. Another reason is the lack of guidance due to parents that do not take care of their children. For some, these pregnancies are planned but 85% of these teens pregnancy is unplanned (Website Title: Teen Ink,Article Title: Teenage Pregnancy,Date Accessed: April 03, 2014).
Studies show that within the last seven years there has been a dramatic drop in the number of teen pregnancies. Teen pregnancy is best known as, the act of getting pregnant between the ages of fifteen and nineteen. Teen pregnancy does not come with much of a history. In the past, (mostly in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s) it was common for girls to be married between the ages of fourteen and sixteen and give birth not long after. Some girls were having babies as young as thirteen and fourteen years old! During the times that young girls would bear children and be married so young, college and education was not an important factor. As a young girl you learned how to take care of your house, farm, laundry, crops, animals, husband, and children. The father was your main source of income. Obviously things in our time are very different. Over the years a growing importance for education and making a living on your own has become crucial to many women. It was no longer important to have children so soon, but to learn to be a strong, educated, and independent woman. Even now as time has gone by, the image of being a pregnant teenage girl has been glorified solely by media. It becomes less important to get an education so you can get a good job and be able to raise a child and give them a good life, and more important to get pregnant and get a chance to be worshiped nationally on t.v. for being pregnant and making all of your money through fame.
In 2011, I became an aunt to an amazing little girl. My sister was just sixteen years old when she found out she was pregnant, a junior in high school. She was already into her second trimester and it was too late for her to even think about aborting the pregnancy. So her decision to keep the baby was the only decision she could make. She had my niece and struggled to finish her senior year in high school. It took special privileges and her taking classes outside the school for her to graduate with her class. She knew that her whole life was going to change the moment she decided to have the baby. There were ten other girls in her grade that got pregnant that year and six decided to abort their pregnancies, four decided to have their babies.
Growing up I was always told to enjoy being young; now I see why. A plethora of young teens today become pregnant in high school. I just so happen to be one of those girls. I would have to say it was a life changing experience for me. As a result, the parallelism between the aspects of my life as a teenager and as a teen mom are stress, responsibility and my emotions.
My mom was a super-mom. She drove carpool, was always apart of every booster club and was the leader of every classroom party that I can remember. She encouraged me to do everything that I wanted to do. She made sure that I got everything I wanted. None of that would have been possible if my dad didnt work. While it felt like he was always gone, he was just doing what he had to do to make sure that my mom and I could live a comfortable life. Of course he took off every chance he could so come watch me at one of my games or help me practice in the back yard. If I didn 't have them I would have nothing. They are the ones who supported all of my decisions and made me feel better about trying new things. Without them I would not be the person I am. Not only would life without my parents would be drastically different but also without my siblings. Like I said before, they were my best friends growing up. I could always count on the being there for me when I was down. Not only did they bring me up when I was down, but they also praised me when I was up. They treated me like I was the greatest thing that has ever walked on God 's green earth. While they would sometimes annoy me with the constant need of attention and feeling like they needed to be involved in every detail of my personal life, I love them more than words will ever
“A teenager may suffer an emotional crisis if she becomes pregnant and does not want the baby. This crisis may lead to rash behavior such as attempting to self-abort the baby or a suicide attempt.” (Bodeeb, 2017) Pregnant teenagers are bound to get criticized by family and friends, which can affect the mother’s health, and possibly the pregnancy. Teenage
Once my mom actually found out she was pregnant, I’m sure a lot of questions and thoughts were running through her mind. For instance,“what am I going to tell my parents” or “how are we going to support this new baby because we’re broke?” She eventually faced all of the facts and decided to keep this precious child, which in my opinion was the right choice because without him our family wouldn’t be complete.
Approximately 85% of these pregnancies are unplanned, and 7.2% do not receive medical care (OAH). Teen pregnancy has become a trend in the United States, with MTV's 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom showcasing the lives of pregnant teenagers during the end of their pregnancies and their days of motherhood. While the show advocates for the use of contraception and abstinence, there is still much speculation as to whether or not this is helping or harming society. The NBER Bulletin on Aging and Health reports that 16 and Pregnant led to more searches and tweets regarding birth control and abortion, ultimately leading to a 5.7% reduction in teen births in the 18 months following its introduction, accounting for around one-third of the overall decline in teen births in the United States (Kearney and Levine).
Babies are born more likely to be born premature and/or suffer low birth weight. There are a lot of problems involved with children having children. There is a higher risk of low birth rate, premature labor, and stillbirth. The problem is teenage girls are not done growing and fully maturing, there for, when they become pregnant it induces problems not only on the baby but the mother as well. *A general rule: The younger the mother, the greater risk of complications for both the mother and child. Often pregnant teenage mothers deny the fact that they are indeed pregnant, therefor ignoring the proper care that she needs for the growing baby inside of her. There are no easy answers; that’s one thing that everyone agrees on when it comes to the problem of teen pregnancy. The Center of Disease Control and prevention affirmed on June 26 what other agencies, such as the National Center for Health Statistics, have been saying over the course of this year: “The teen pregnancy rate is dropping. The number of teenage girls across the country who became pregnant fell 12 percent between 1991 and 1996. This drops affects girls, of different races and socioeconomic backgrounds, in all states. But the problem remains; The U.S. teen pregnancy rate is the highest of any industrialized countries. Babies born in the U.S. to teenager mothers are at risk for long-term problems in many major areas of life, including school failure, poverty, and physical or mental illness. The teenage mothers themselves are also at risk for these problems.
A. Attention Getter: The amount of teenagers that get pregnant around the age of 15 through 17 is quite concerning. Even though most Teenage Pregnancies are unintentional, it still means that there are chances of them becoming pregnant.
It all begins with the pregnancy of the mother and determining if there are any complications during prenatal care. Prenatal care not only improves pregnancy; in fact, it helps the mother understand and determine what is right and wrong for the baby. Most individuals are not familiar with the different types of labors and may only think that there is only one type. Childbirth can come in many ways, such as a C-section, which can occur if the mother did not take care of herself while pregnant. The most common birth is natural or vaginal birth. There are three stages when it comes to childbirth: dilation, delivery of the baby, and placenta. Even though childbirth and/or labor may be a beautiful and unforgettable moment, there can be different types of delivery, which can all be determined from the mother’s health during pregnancy. Some deliveries may process smoothly and other may encounter complications; however, all of these aspects and characteristics are what conceives a new human being. It is incredible and unbelievable how labor conveyed every individual to this planet. Childbirth is a beautiful and natural way of human creation and if some mothers had complications during pregnancy that just makes everything and everyone
As time goes on, teen pregnancy is becoming more and more common throughout the world. So many people frown upon this whole idea. Such people act as if the teenage parents’ world is going to come to an end. Although these kids’ life is going to be making a big turn, there are many of them who are mature enough to take on the responsibilities of a baby.
