Being a tattoo artist is a one of a kind amazing job with both strengths and weaknesses. There are many things you have to be prepared for. But if you take the time to appreciate the strengths, it can definitely outweigh its weaknesses. Obviously if you are into tattooing, you love drawing. So in this, you get to do something you love everyday. This is a big plus because what other jobs out there let you doodle and go at your own pace for a living? Not very much. Even when you have a job you’re into, like teaching, you have to go by a schedule. With tattooing there’s not many deadlines. You may not be a machinist but you do need to know what to do if your needle stops working. Taking lessons and practicing taking apart and putting back together the machine may be boring, but it can save you from embarrassment. Or always having a spare closeby can help. Just being prepared and having extras is key. Not to mention, being a tattoo artist has its own type of category in jobs. Sure some people say it’s not a real job, and that's okay, until they go to a shop to get one. Tattoo artists are one person that has many jobs. They are nurses, machinists, artists, and many more. Sure teachers and like, therapists can impact a person's life greatly. But being a tattoo artist is a whole new thing. People can tell stories upon stories about what their tattoos mean and why they got them. It’s giving people what they’ve always wanted, and there’s no other job like it. Generally speaking, tattoo artists have to go through many things to succeed. People’s lives can be greatly impacted as well as the artists. It’s a one in a million type of job, where every small strength outweighs its weaknesses. All in all, tattooing is an outstanding job you’ll learn to love.
