A person can fulfill countless roles in life. Sometimes, even without knowing, we can take on many roles at the same time. With dedication, diligence, and pride, It is imperative that every role we decide to take on, we fulfill it as is. Of all the roles I have taken and the ones I currently take on, I believe the most important ones to be: a son, a college student, and a brother. Those are the ones that awards me the greatest joy and are the most rewarding.
Being a son is probably the most meaningful role I have taken on to date. To me, being a son means loving unconditionally and receiving unwavering support from the people who bestowed me with life, my parents. It means being eternally grateful with them considering they are willing to take food off their plate and put it in mine, they are willing to stake their lives for mine, and do what no other people will do for me. It means to honor them always, and that no matter how tough or bumpy the road becomes, my parents will always be there to hold me. Most importantly, they provide me with tough love when I need it the most. As expected, it is probably the most arduous role I have yet taken on. It is one that lays upon me a great deal of pressure to excel and to achieve greatness in life. Being a student means being able to work under pressure, getting adrenaline rushes before tests or doing a project, and every so often deal with overwhelming stress. Vigorously, it means being able to cope with a changing environment that tests you to exceed your limit and challenge your knowledge.Being a college student enables you to create friendships and relations which will last a lifetime, and most it paves the road to what our professional careers will be.
