Taking risks are an important part of life, and occur when an individual walks into an unforeseen circumstance. Someone who is a risk-taker will deliberately approach situations such as this, and make the most out of it. Rather than enter an event with fear and hesitation, those in possession of this characteristic will be mentally prepared, driven to achieve the goal that has been set forth. Risk-takers will openly explore this avenue and try to invent strategies to overcome obstacles. Furthermore, individuals with this attribute are able to find new sources of information and persevere in times of uncertainty, never letting doubt overtake their mindset. This assignment was done in a group of upwards to five people, where each individual within the group assigned a certain task. I took this challenge head-on, aware of the difficulty I may face, and decided to take upon the job as the writer for the team, given the responsibility to construct a large portion of the case brief. Starting this project, I had a minimal understanding of what a case brief was suppose to be written on, with considerable confusion as to what had to be written in each component of the assignment. Determined, I took several hours out of my day to research the suspect in question, Dennis Stockton, and to investigate how to compose a case brief. After an extended period of time, I was able to discover additional resources that aided me in the creation of this document. I did experience bumps in the road, however, I did not let this sway me. The rule of law and application, in particular, proved to be the most difficult. I took a risk, compiling all my knowledge I acquired on the subject to address these components, which paid off in the end, allowing me to create one of my proudest
