Behavior Modification: Exercise The behavior I want to modify is how much I exercise. I currently do little to no exercise; at most I will exercise once a month. I wish to increase how much I exercise. My end goal for this behavior modification is to exercise three times per week (at least one hour each session). I will use the behavior and consequence (reward) principles of operant conditioning in my modification plan. To achieve my end goal I have small goals to achieve each week. Each week that I complete my behavior I will be given a reward. The first few weeks are fairly simple and so the rewards are small. As I complete more weeks the behavior gets harder so the rewards become more substantial. This means that the closer I get to completing my end goal the more I will get rewarded. By rewarding myself as I get closer to my end goal I am incorporating the process of shaping into my behavior modification. I have broken down my …show more content…
modification plan into eight weeks with the completion of the eighth week meaning I will receive my final reward. Week 1: For the first week I will go for a twenty-minute run.
I will do this by setting a timer for ten minutes on my phone and running away from my house until the timer sounds, and then I will run back home. After completing this I will reward myself with a small ice cream. Week 2: In this week my goal will be to go for two twenty-minute runs during the week. My reward for completing this goal will be a night out with my friends. Week 3: My goal for this week is to go for two thirty-minute runs and my reward will be that I will treat myself to a movie and allow my self a cheat meal and eat pop corn with extra butter. Week 4: This week my goal is to complete three thirty-minute runs and my reward is that I will go get a thirty-minute massage from a professional masseuse. Week 5: My goal for week 5 is to sign up for and attend an hour-long workout class at the gym close to my house. I will go for a thirty minute run this week as well. My reward for completing this week’s goals is that I will buy myself a new pair of running
shorts. Week 6: For week 6 my goal is to attend two hour-long workout classes during the week. I will buy myself a new pair of running shoes to go along with my shorts, for completing this goal. Week 7: In week 7 to achieve my goal I must attend two hour-long workout classes and go for a thirty-minute run. If I complete this week my boyfriend said he would take me out to dinner. At this dinner I will allow myself to eat what I want and have a glass of wine. Week 8: In my last week of my behavior modification my goal is to attend three hour-long workout classes during the week. In doing this I will by myself a shirt from Lulu Lemon to complete my new workout outfit.

My goal at the beginning of the year was to have a good start to the season and a good finish to the season. I had a good start at Cortez, where I won the first rodeo and placed ...
Writing Assignment Two Introduction Special education includes addressing students’ academic needs as well as their behavioral needs. A student with a disability is not exempt from disciplinary measures, as students with can be suspended and even expelled from the school environment. More specifically, students with emotional disturbance can display maladaptive behaviors. These maladaptive behaviors can generate unsafe learning environments. More importantly, the creation of an effective behavior intervention plan (BIP) is imperative.
My goal of this behavior change project was to implement more physical activity each day and keep a healthy diet after working out. During this process, I have learned a lot about how to stick to a strict schedule and how to overcome the challenges I have experienced already. My desire outcome was to have at least 5 out of the 7 days to be successful each week. There were some minor setbacks, but I was able to come back and succeed the following week. I have also learned that people learn from their failures. No one is perfect and it takes practice to get your desired outcome.
After you have completed the third week of the workout cycle, you will start back at week #1.
A behavioral intervention plan (BIP) is designed for a specific child to try to help that child learn to change her or his behavior. Once the function of a student 's behavior has been determined, the Individual Education Program (IEP) Team should develop the behavior intervention plan A behavioral intervention plan can be thought of as a plan to support the student in order to help him or her change behavior. Effective support plans consist of multiple interventions or support strategies and are not punishment. Positive behavioral intervention plans increase the acquisition and use of new alternative skills, decrease the problem behavior and facilitate general improvements in the quality of life of the individual, his or her family, and
The fifth week rolls around with 10 cups a day for 5 days week. I wasn’t really sure about this week but I also wasn’t about to give it up. I planned out the next 5 days so I finish my criteria of 10 cups a day. I would carry the bottle around with me and keep track of how many cups I was going through. I started doing that Sunday and I did it till Thursday. I made it by drinking 10 cups a day for 5 days a week. I am not sure if I will be able to keep pace with the way I did for the previous weeks. But I am sure that I will be drinking a lot of water then before.

4. I hope to win the approval of my new coach by swimming 50 yards in 23 seconds.
My break has been magnificently boring, but a much needed boringness. My break has become a routine; everyday, I wake up at 12 pm (yes, I know, it’s quite early for me), and I proceed to the gym for two to three hours, working out and playing basketball. Afterwards, I devote the rest of the day to the goals I set for myself. Recently, I have been working on a new T – shirt design and a new YouTube video. You mentioned what my New Year’s Resolution would be, but as you can tell, I have no need for a Resolution because I prepare goals for everday. I’m not sure if this is applicable to you, but I have been planning for whole weeks at a time in a list form and specifying exactly what needs to be completed every single day. So far, this list has
5. Plan to have my 2017 goals put together by 1/27, giving myself a whole extra week right now due to the kick off meeting next week. Sent to Keith on 2/3 and spoke quickly about them with him today.
I kept jogging around the track, since it was the last day of the three day tryouts, and, of course, the last day is the fitness test. In fitness test, we had to run two miles around the track in less than 17 minutes.
Time - I have planned to reach this goal in three months time as I just started this new job.
The miles increased each week and before I knew it, the last long run before the marathon was only twenty miles. Then came the marathon, 26.2 miles of runners’ high, pain, agony, and unstable weather.
