“The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.” This is one of Albert Einstein’s most famous beliefs. Einstein’s mantra is a powerful saying because many crimes and evil events happen daily. What I understand of his belief is that the world isn’t a bad place to live entirely because of the evil people, it is a bad place to live because nobody will do anything to stop these people. For example, imagine Adolf Hitler. He was a horrible evil man and six million Jews died because of him, but they also died because bystanders were not brave enough to stand up for the Jews and fight Hitler. If more people had realized earlier what he was doing, together they could have stopped the slaughter of many jews. This belief has impacted many people including me, my mom, and others all over the world. However, many bad changes can come out of evil events, but you should know that they are not only happening because of one person; Instead the are happening because of the people who did not stand up for what was right.
This belief impacts me in my school and home life. My friends usually have arguments that are useless and sometimes violent. This is bad to do because that is not how you strengthen your relationship with a friend. Many times I try to stop them from fighting and it usually works. This will help prevent them from becoming bystanders in the future. Also, sometimes I have naughty friends that like to pull pranks on people and get into dangerous situations. Some examples of this is ding-dong ditching and ice skating on a half frozen pond or river. Sometimes I just wish he learns the hard way but the good part of me takes over and tells me to advis...

...t parts around the world are always threatening another country. Lastly, North Korea’s government is being controlled by a family dictatorship. They are limiting the people’s everything. Even their ability to get out of the country and where they live.
In conclusion, many evil events occur daily, and you might not be enough to end them but you are one of the ripples out of the thousand in this great big lake. Many people must step up to the challenge of stopping these bad things from happening. Albert Einstein’s belief greatly weaves into our lives whether you notice it or let the problems go. The world, my mother, and I have been, and always will be enormously impacted by Einstein’s forever lasting and always powerful understanding of the world.

This is the day Albert Einstein signed the letter that prompted the U.S.’s exploration into nuclear weaponry. Frankly put, he messed up. That letter led to the laughter of civilians at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. America is an experimental country - the first wholly democratic country – and it backfires sometimes. The Creed is warped to fit a definition of a moment and the wrong course of action is pursued. Einstein didn’t sign that latter with the intention of giving the world heartache and terror. He signed it to preserves the peace and it was hopelessly misconstrued. The only peace he can make with that decision is that it is one of those undervalued days in
... description an outlier on all five points. He was a man that came from nothing; his life was full of struggles that could have led him to fail. Even through uncontrollable circumstances seemed to hold him back; they also guided him down the correct path he needed to succeed. Einstein was intelligent enough, he made use of the “Matthew Effect”, the “10,000-hour” rule, “demographic luck”, and he had opportunity (Gladwell 15, 35, 129). Through a review of these effects on a persons success offered by Gladwell it is now easier to understand how a person like Einstein did in fact become such a success.
“We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” – Albert Einstein
Japan was imperializing late nineteenth century to early twentieth century. Korea was a Japanese colony. After World War II, the Japanese had to get rid of the colony. North Korea became Communist. South Korea wanted to be democratic. Later North Korea crossed the 38th parallel and entered South Korea. The United States answered by telling the United Nations to help South Korea. The United Nations did and they pushed North Korea so far back they hit the northern tip of china. China went into the war to protect their borders. At the end of the war they went back to where they were in the beginning. Neither side won. Between 1992 -1995 North Korea did many good things. It says on BBC News Asia that North Korea became involved in the United Nations and they agree to freaze nuclear weapon program those where the good they did but then there was a huge flood that created a food shortage this was also on BBC Asia. In 2002 it say in BBC Asia that nuclear tension increased in North Korea and United States. The North Korean communist nation controls the citizen’s religious beliefs so they have to belief in jushe which is a belief that they have to look up to North Korean leaders. The North Korean leaders make sure the citizens of North Korea belief in it if they don...
Following a rule and believing in something are two different things, and something I strongly believe in is loyalty. Loyal to yourself, loyalty your beliefs, and most of all, loyalty to your friends are important. The kind of loyalty where your friend and yourself told each other you would be friends forever, and you keep that promise. But, I have had a personal experience with friends “stabbing me in the back”, and that is was makes this belief so important. I had a best friend since second grade. We did everything together from creating an Instagram account about both of us to dancing side by side together. We kept each other's secrets and had each other’s backs. No matter who came into our lives, we always had each other and nothing could
“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.”~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
Explanation: Like what it is said. North Korea can and will be a threat, and we need to keep a close watch on them before it is too late. Everybody needs to be ready. Kim Jong Un looks like an innocent man but behind closed doors, that is where he is most dangerous. He can be planning and preparing an attack that nobody even know.
Several intelligent freethinking individuals have occupied the world. Who, at first glance may appear to be completely incompetent and distorted as contributing members of our society. For Albert Einstein, he seemed to be no exception. Growing up having had a speech disability, “Einstein initially was thought to be simple-minded, and consequently would not achieve much in his lifetime.” In contrast, Einstein has manipulated almost every thought and question, which existed in his time and in ours. Whereas many mathematicians, scientist, and or philosophers were unable to answer unimaginable questions and theories that would improve the world we live in. That was no surprise to anyone. Einstein was able with little endeavor to organize and formulate the most complex equations and designs, making light of problems previously thought to be impossible.
Relations between the United States and North Korea have been unstable since the second world war and with each passing decade the relations have become more tense. The U.S has never have formal international relations with North Korea , however the conflict has caused much controversy in U.S foreign policy. North Korea has been the receiver of millions of dollars in U.S aid and the target of many U.S sanctions. This is due to the fact that North Korea is one of the most oppressive regimes on the planet, that uses unjust techniques such as murder, torture, and starvation to get their citizens to be obedient. They restrict contact from their citizens to the outside world, through censorship of technology and rarely allowing visitors to the country. The root of the US-North Korea conflict however ,has been on the basis of nuclear weapons and North Korea threatening to use those weapons against the U.S and neighboring South Korea. The U.S and other nations have been working for the last few decades to stop the regime from purchasing and utilizing destructive nuclear weapons.
Einstein, Albert. The World as I See It. Translated by Alan Harris. Carol Publishing Group Edition. New York: Carol, 1995.
This quote by Einstein is not only relevant to me personally, but to our society and culture. I feel that this quote really speaks to America in terms of progression of equality. In the past, we have fought for equal rights for women and minorities, and made great progress. However, these groups of people are still not given the same opportunities and respect as straight white males. In the future, we are given new chances to make our nation more equal. It will be a "new day", and it is up to us to do what we can to improve upon it.
Since its origin in 1948, North Korea has been isolated and heavily armed, with hostile relations with South Korea and Western countries. It has developed a capability to produce short- and medium-range missiles, chemical weapons, and possibly biological and nuclear weapons. In December 2002, Pyongyang lifted the freeze on its plutonium-based nuclear weapons program and expelled IAEA inspectors who had been monitoring the freeze under the Agreed Framework of October 1994. As the Bush administration was arguing its case at the United Nations for disarming Iraq, the world has been hit with alarming news of a more menacing threat: North Korea has an advanced nuclear weapons program that, U.S. officials believe, has already produced one or two nuclear bombs. As the most recent standoff with North Korea over nuclear missile-testing approaches the decompression point, the United States needs to own up to a central truth: The region of Northeast Asia will never be fully secure until the communist dictatorship of North Korea passes from the scene. After threatening to test a new, long-range missile, Pyongyang says it is willing to negotiate with "the hostile nations" opposing it. But whether the North will actually forgo its test launch is anyone's guess. North Korea first became embroiled with nuclear politics during the Korean War. Although nuclear weapons were never used in Korea, American political leaders and military commanders threatened to use nuclear weapons to end the Korean War on terms favorable to the United States. In 1958, the United States deployed nuclear weapons to South Korea for the first time, and the weapons remained there until President George Bush ordered their withdrawal in 1991. North Korean government stateme...
...he assassination target of the Nazi, the physics that changed the world. These are all title that applies to Albert Einstein. Einstein was a very famous person for better or for worse, he did so many good things, some like E=mc2 lead to some bad stuff like the atom bomb. In my opinion I think that Einstein was amazing and people took his Ideas and made bad stuff from it. To close out my essay I would just like to say, if you think Einstein is a evil person for creating the atom bomb, just to let you know Einstein never came close to the atom bomb he only was smart and thought up the equation that lead to the atom bomb. As I sated earlier in my paper he was a pacifies. Einstein was only smart person that had his ideas taken and made evil. Einstein made so many ground breaking discoveries. “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” –Albert Einstein
Even though Albert Einstein’s life ended on that fateful April day, he will live on through the many contributions he has made to theoretical physics. A man of great creativity and perseverance, Einstein never stopped asking, “Why?” Perhaps humanity as a whole should start asking, “Why,” more often.
“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.” The man who made countless mistakes and learned greatly from them spoke these wise words. Of all the scientists to originate from the nineteenth and twentieth century, his name is acknowledged by nearly all living people. Albert Einstein, a man whose name is practically parallel to a genius, is one of history’s most noteworthy figures (Willsey). He had made a remarkable, positive impact on society through his works and contributions to science.
