Bacon Factory Monologue

It was an ordinary day at the bacon factory until they came. Two men in dark black suits and dark shades walked in the factory demanding everybody to leave at once. They told the workers there that they were from the F.D.A. Then they began saying that the factory did not meet health standards,and it was not fit for bacon manufacturing. I knew something was up but the worst was...i believed them.
After about a week i got a notice in the mail telling me that i just been laid off because the factory has been closed down,and that i’ll be collecting my last pay on 1/24/35.I did not know what to do, what am i going to eat, what am i going to do to pay the bills, how am i going to pay childcare!. Child care,...I haven’t really thought about it till now, but why am i paying child care!. I don’t have kids! ... I had a wife, I... had a wife i don’t understand

I felt bad. The trip back home was long longer than normal we got back home and the first thing he said was “Did you work at a bacon factory”?
