If I was granted $10,000 to benefit my community I would use it to make a public babysitting center. It would be available throughout the whole day making it easier for families to drop their kids off at any given time. The prices would be made very affordable, made specifically for single parents that cant afford full-time babysitters like any other family could. The babysitting center would have different rooms designed for a variety of ages so that each kid would enjoy their experience there. I would invest in this because I think it is a great opportunity for young adults to earn either community service hours or money. It would give teens an opportunity to spend time with kids and to form special bonds with them also. I believe it would
...he D.A.R.E program if substance abuse is still an issue? The program has positive outreach to young children and teenagers but the rates of substance abuse are not decreasing as planned. This program needs to make changes in how the program is taught or society needs to stop funding the program and put that money to better use.
Another opportunity in giving back to the community would be through the school system. With the financial help of local civic clubs, kits could be prepared for the students in the elementary school. Through the kits, the children could be taught the importance of taking care of their teeth. I believe that the younger students would respond well to the "tooth fairy." The tooth fairy could then teach the correct techniques for brushing and flossing teeth. This would be a fun experience for the younger students, as well as a fun reminder. Here again, students would be educated and provided a service.
...ven join a community service group that helps clean up the community. This would also be a great way to open up new jobs by having people look out for things on the ground, and clean up litter at all times.
I strongly believe that working with youths is essential because nowadays they need more than ever before someone who is willing to listen to them without judgement and to be able to see themselves in another light than what they have always been expected to be seen as. In addition, they are the adults of tomorrow and they deserve to live a full life of chances and healthy relationships with another. If hired, I would be proud to be a part of the CHSi family and help continue that support for future
Foster care is a system in which a minor has been placed into a ward, group home, or
Do you want to see our kids go down the wrong path? Well, I wouldn’t. With this program’s help, we can teach kids how to live a healthy and happy life by saying no to peer pressure, tobacco, alcohol, and drugs. to the situation I am in, and say no! Since 8th grade is a transitional year, it’s even more ethical to have this program, so students can make healthy choices in the high school.
With USD 1 million, I would open a large hostel for women in need of protection. Inside the compound there will be a polytechnic/ educational institute to provide them an education, guidance and counseling for their emotional health, law firm to handle legal matters and a nursery primary school for their children.
It is common knowledge that a parent is considered the most efficient caregiver for their children. It’s also known that with daily responsibilities of caring for a child financially, parents partake in full-time and/or part-time employment. While needing to do so, many children attend daycare/preschool facilities. Granted, it is the parent’s responsibility to cautiously select where they decide to take their children. This is because parents know that while they are away for numerous hours of the day, their children are in the hands of another care provider and that their care would have an enormous impact on their children. At a young age, a child’s social and cognitive skills are continuing to take shape and the amount of time spent in these facilities has a resilient impact on a child’s development. With proper and superior care no matter the time spent, such positive effects on a child’s development should endure in a child’s cognitive and social development. In other words, there is a great benefit of childcare/daycare attendance on a child’s development.
Preschool isn't just a place for parents to drop off their children while they are at work for the day. It is in preschool where children learn the necessary skills needed to succeed in school and in life. With high-quality preschools and qualified teachers the possibilities are endless. It's not only the children who reap the benefits of Early Childhood Education; their parents, fellow peers, and even society feel the positive effects of quality preschool programs. Children enrolled in quality preschool programs are more likely to succeed academically and socially when they are older.
Becoming an au pair is both very exciting, and intimidating. However, EurAupair's Au Pair Program in America offers you so many wonderful benefits that easily make up for being a bit scary at first. Here are the four major benefits to becoming one of EurAupair's respected au pairs.
Ever since I first understood the world, I loved to spend time with my family. If I were ever invited to a sleepover, I would refuse nine out of ten times, so my dad and I could go see a movie. However, I’ve started to realize that not everybody is as fortunate as I am. If I were given one day and $1,000 dollars to make a difference in my community, I would savor every second. I’d gather my closest friends and family, make a trip to every nursing home in town, making every senior feel like I have for the past fourteen years.
However, our recreation center provides programs specifically for children and teenagers. Aside from just providing athletic and sports recreation for the youth, we should also provide them with tutoring services, a game room and a lounge where they can just "hang out." The programs that would be provided by our youth center would improve our town in many ways. Smallville is failing as a city because it cannot attract new residents. The town is dying because most of its citizens are elderly and will soon pass away.
...nce at almost any cost. My planned proposal will take millions of dollars and a long time to implement. However, Texans need the program because society cannot function with the overwhelming amount of violence in today's world. The programs call for drastic changes in education, apprehension of criminals, the judicial system, and the prison system. It is unreasonable to expect to be financially able to hold a juvenile prisoner for a long period of time. However, with this program, the prisoners would be released on an incentive program. They would have to serve a reasonable amount of time in a strict prison, but they would be eligilble to be released at the earliest possible time, if they completed their programs. By improving these areas, we would still not be able to solve the problem, but I think it would be the best program that could realistically be implemented.
Being raised by both parents is different than being raised by just one. The methods used to raise children influences the way in which they develop. Raising children helps to determine the path one will take for the rest of his or her life. What one is taught while being raised remains for a lifetime. Children being raised by both parents will most likely lack the benefit of having both children in the household. It would be interesting to see how children’s lives are affected because of who raised them. The focus is particularly on black families because according to research, they have the most amount of single parent households, above all other families.
... a legal aid center there and bring hope back into their community. I also plan on starting a family foundation in honor of my mother, who has paved the way of charity for so many families. My mother’s blood runs deep into my soul and I wouldn’t be complete if I couldn’t help those in need.
