Like Natalie, I feel the same way towards furthering my knowledge by going to college. Powerful minds have argued whether if going to college is beneficial towards yourself or a waste of time. I, personally, support that going to college is beneficial towards a better life, but there can be cons just like there is to everything. Attending college is beneficial to your hobbies or things that inspire you. College provides a variety of courses which you can be involved in for your personal benefit. If you want to study art, history, mathematics, or even something odd like astrobiology; there’s a class for that! People argue that there’s no classes for what they want to pursue in life, but that might not be true, they're just not looking hard enough. If you would rather not go to classes and be at the comfort of your home there’s no excuse to not attend college. Yes there are cases when someone has a miracle and gets a chance to make it big in an industry, but better safe than sorry. According to howtoedu.org “Over the course of working 40 years, someone with a high school diploma will make $1,116,600 while someone with a bachelor’s degree will make $2,048,204” ( howto.edu.org 2007 ), so people who argue that going to college doesn’t make you more money than not attending are incorrect. The amount of money you make in college can help with stability in your life to afford the things you want. You’re not going to struggle as much as someone who isn’t a college
