INTRODUCTION:
Arthritis is the most common condition seen now a days among the Population of Canadians. It is among those conditions which occur regardless of Age,Sex and Work. Arthritis is been the major health ailment that is been focussed all over the health societies. The lifestyle and living habits of the Canadians are with less effort and well comforted or rather with less physical activity. The food and dietary habits tend to affect on the health leading to obesity, diabetes,hypertension etc, which more or less affects the musculoskeletal system.

Joint damage caused by osteoarthritis accounts for more than 80 per cent of hip replacement surgery and over 90 per cent of knee replacements in Canada(as per the facts and figure given by the arthritis society,http://www.arthritis.ca/facts).

The symptoms of osteoarthritis develop slowly and get worse as time goes by. There is pain in a joint, either during or after use, or after a period of inactivity. Tenderness is seen, stiffness is present in morning.The patient may find it harder to use the joint - it loses its flexibility.The most commonly affected joints are hips,hands,knees,spine.
